Dirtybird56
No way Asamoah gets beat out.. Unless the coaches aren't willing to try him at LG which so far it looks like. Quinn making it sound like Asamoah's just been outplayed (at RG by Chester)""@andrewhirsh: Quinn said Chris Chester has jumped out to the coaching staff in a good way. Been working with the 1s.""""@jeannathomas: Quinn says Asamoah's not out of it, calls him a great competitor.""
HEIST
everyone on the team is a good/fierce competitor apparently
KRUNKuno
Tells me that...Asamoah has clearly been too injured to be effective. People said his injury was minor. Ha.Hawley starting worries me. The guy has been on a pitch count the entire offseason and openly admitted he'd only probably be 90% max for thr season.Person starting when Stone has been getting the most reps at LG is interesting. This line is in shambles. Dirtybird56
"@DOrlandoAJC: #Falcons coach Dan Quinn praised Chris Chester, who currently has moved ahead of Jon Asamoah at right guard, James Stone was at LG.""@DOrlandoAJC: Joe Hawley and Mike Person were alternating at first-team center today. Tacked-LT Jake, RT Ryan Schraeder"

FentayeJones
Funny thing is Vaughn McClure has been saying Asamoah is not a good scheme fit for a while now and I have been dismissing his statements as McClure not knowing what he is talking about. Maybe he had some kind of inside knowledge. Its kinda hard to believe he wont start but if he gets beat then he gets beat.

Maybe he had some kind of inside knowledge. Its kinda hard to believe he wont start but if he gets beat then he gets beat.I thought about that too haha. I mean I could see him being beat out by Chester now that I've gotten a look at Chester several days in camp and see he is in 2012 form. He is a superior run blocker and minimal drop off in pass protection Staff better experiment with Asamoah at LG. Seems like a better fit given his skill set anyway, not sure why they are looking at Stone there and letting Asamoah only get reps at RG. But it's early and this staff isn't moronic so I trust them
