It Is Still Very Early But Dled And Polian Might Have Been Right.

Recommended Posts

I thought Freeman, TC, and Antone had the running back position locked but Terron Ward's name has consistently come up the first couple of days of camp. The Shanahan's have gotten a lot out of undrafted backs. If he can give anything close to the effort tone used to give on special teams Armstrong could have a hard decision on his hands.

Before camp Dled an Bill Polian said he had a legit shot at sticking with the squad.

With Freeman, Antone, and Coleman all locks to make roster I don't think he'll makes the 53 man roster. For another team to sign him then he will have to go straight to their active roster, so unless he dominates the preseason and puts his name on the map for other teams to see, he will probably go to the practice squad.

I just watched the Terrell Davis story on NFLN last week. He was the #3 or #4 guy when he came into camp - if he could have stayed healthy for another 2-3 years he might of made the HOF.

You never know....RBs can come out of nowhere.

Hello Jamal Anderson

Hello Terrell Davis

Hello Priest Holmes

etc, etc, etc.

would be very ironic with the battle between Devonta and Tevin if Terron came out of nowhere and stole the job.

now I get it...it is obvious why nobody can tackle this brotha - he has a white force field around him - when the tacklers touch the force field they just bounce off. Just another Whitey taken credit for the work of a black man.

With great running backs, you normally get two attributes between strong, fast, or quick. Terrell Davis was the first one since OJ Simpson who had all three attributes. In my opinion, he was the ultimate RB and it was a shame we didn't see what he had yet to accomplish when he got hurt.

I think he still should, regardless. 2000 yard season, Super Bowl MVP, and league MVP, IIRC. Lots of RBs are in the Hall with less.
