Saints Jordan To Be Used As A Joker (Look Out Batman)

The Saints plan to "lean on" DE Cameron Jordan to key their pass rush following Junior Galette's release.

On the first day of Saints camp, Jordan lined up as a "seven-technique" end, hinting he'll have the opportunity to rush the passer off the edge more. New Orleans appears to have scrapped its 3-4 defense and will use more four-man fronts. Beat writers have suggested the versatile, athletic Jordan could be used as a "Joker" who moves around the defense and wreaks havoc.

Wait they threw away the 3-4???? Does Rob Ryan even know how to do a 4-3???

And it is not easy going from one to the other. it takes time..... Heck some teams can never do it, then they go back and it sends them back even further.

I agree. Clearly the 3-4 is our defense and we have the personal for it. Why we were running a 4-3 last season didn't make sense. We went from the worst ever running a 4-3 to #4 with a 3-4 to #31 in a 4-3.
