charliechaplin
Cardinals hire first female coach in NFL history to work with ILBs By Fox Sports The Arizona Cardinals made potentially a groundbreaking hire on Monday. Jen Welter, who is the first female to hold a coaching position of any kind in the NFL, will work with the inside linebackers throughout training camp and the preseason. Welter, 27, played running back and special teams for the Indoor Football League's Texas Revolution in February, becoming the first female to play a non-kicking position in a men's professional football league. Coaching is nothing more than teaching, head coach Bruce Arians said via the team's website. One thing I have learned from players is, How are you going to make me better? If you can make me better, I dont care if youre the Green Hornet, man, Ill listen. I really believe shell have a great opportunity with this internship through training camp to open some doors for her. http://my.xfinity.com/articles/sports-nfl/20150728/Cardinals.female.coach/
