north falcon
I'm not claiming to be an expert on the 2 pitchers you got, but they do have potential. I've at least heard of their names before. They were 2011 (Gant) and 2012 (Whalen) draft picks out of high school, so it may be another 2-4 years before they see a major league field, but I don't think they are chopped liver. I think at least one of them will be an effective major leaguer. Gant is closer and probably has better stuff, but Whalen seems to have more control. Thanks for Uribe and Johnson. The Mets had a lot of minor leaguers on the team. It's nice to see a couple of professional hitters.
maorifalcon
Thanks mate, I guess we shall see how they pan out. Hopefully with coaching we get some solid bullpen help, best case scenario is a starter and closer a few ears from now.
