Need a little assistance.......My son's and I are planning to attend Training Camp Aug 1st and 2nd and since this is our first time, I am interested in learning "what to expect" as well as your suggestions on place(s) to get the best view etc. I've searched everywhere, yet haven't seen for sure if there is a charge to attend Camp?

Appreciate any help you may be able to offer!

You're gonna have a blast man!

First thing is prepare to be extremely hot, so dress appropriately and bring an umbrella! As far as a charge, no there is not. They do sell food and drink, but it is extremely cheap and cash only.

I appreciate the quick response. I lived in Atlanta for many years before moving back to Kentucky, so I remember the summers well. I am so excited to go - it's something I've always wanted to do but never had the time.

The heat shouldn't be nearly as bad this year since they changed to the times to around 10 AM rather than 3:30. Then again, it will be starting to get pretty hot toward the end of practice.

As far as where to sit, I just sit in the grass on the hill wherever looks good and it's a great view. If you want to set up chairs next to the field or in the shade, you'll probably want to get there early to find a good spot.

the hill is kinda steep and sitting on it becomes a little uncomfortable after a while. I usually take a few camping chairs with me that can be adjusted for the incline and that's been quite good for me the past couple of years

the concessions they sell are surprisingly inexpensive and I applaud the organization for that. compared to what we pay at the GA Dome, the food is almost free
