Knight of God
What??? Hey, it's always great to have 2 top RBs, You know how easy it is to lose one. I am very happy we have two quality RBs and one of the best 3rd backs in the league.. I love these 3 musketeers ... Can't watch to watch all three, And to beat it all, they are all different type backs.. I love it..I don't see anything about him that I like even a little. Personally...that's different. Football wise? Not even a little.

Its the pushing that makes me just wish we had done something else. I was not impressed at all and don't even understand what anyone is talking about. Its weird to me. We don't have two good backs based on last year. We have a rookie and a couple of positives.
gazoo
Freeman can make guys miss in front of him with these almost effortless cut moves that are lighting quick laterally as he continues moving forward. I was amazed at some of the jukes he put on defenders last year toward end of season when he started getting a feel for the pro game. Coleman can flat out run anyone and has serious juice in his legs, but Freeman can make you miss up close.

I'm not into cute, I'm into effective. Not amazed by mediocrity.
Oldskooler
Oldskooler is a lost cause I don't think single season rushing record and super bowl mvp would change his mind but I get it. I'm sure if I thought hard enough there are a few players I irrationally didn't like. You clearly do not know who you are talking to, wlegget. I AM the danger. I AM the one who knocks.More seriously, I do not "irrationally dislike" Freeman. I want him and Coleman to both be successful. But part of that success is being able to reliably and effectively read and pick up a blitz, to keep Matt Ryan clean and healthy. Last season, Freeman was very poor at this. All I want to see from Freeman is the ability to do exactly that. Our offensive line is quite likely going to struggle while adapting to and learning the ZBS together. That makes other sources of protection even more vital. So I disagree strongly with your mischaracterization of me. I have said time and time again that Freeman MIGHT improve his pass blocking, but I want to see it. That is not an "irrational dislike" of Freeman. Oldskooler
I don't know if my dislike is irrational, but its a real thing. Sorta. Its very hard to explain though.I was the one accused of "irrational dislike", not you. Which is odd, because I dislike a specific aspect of his game, but have repeatedly allowed for the possibility of improvement. Your dislike seems to be one of complete and permanent condemnation. Yours is the truly irrational position. But you are a more well known, more widely respected poster. So it is I, not you, that suffers the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune, and it is I who must take arms and by opposing, end them. That means I'm enjoying the proceedings.

I actually do kind of like Freeman, I just hate over the top hype and making too much out of mediocrity. I'm rooting for him and have mentioned many times I think he will help this team for years to come. I have been here so long, folks have me figured out where this is concerned. Durrtay
One thing about Coleman, they say he's got to work on breaking arm tackles, well all the forage I watch on him showed defenders not even having a chance to get an arm on him. Reminded me of Jamal Charles coming out kinda. If you don't let defenders even touch you. How can one tell whether you can break arm tackles or not?was the forage a remark on a gazelle?
