Whatever Happened To...

Yeah, they can be fun. Lots of times these underdogs are actually overlooks. My faves are the ones who fell out of the draft...like Burfict. wink.png

Well, my name sake is probably the one that got me into loving the underdog. Burflict is also another great example.

Because he's one of the best 90 people we could obtain this year. One of the best 53 we could find last year.

I get that part but was he injured or something.I mean you pull up his profile on the team page and it doesn`t even have his photo linked to it.

I think he could be a great asset to the team just wandering why we haven`t seen or heard more about the guy.

For some reason he was never active last year. Not injured, just another weird decision from the coaches imo. They showed him a lot on the sidelines shadowing the defensive coaches during games though, so he's been learning and working. I'm interested to see what Quinn gets out of him.

Eh. He looked decent on hard knocks because they were creating a storyline. He had good size, but (as mentioned earlier) he's no different to a load of physical guys who probably went undrafted this year. We are stacked at receiver - he's not going to make it with us.

You see though, Burfict wasn't an underdog. He was a 1st round pick, that decided not to give a **** for his final season, and fell out of the draft b/c of it. He always had the physical tools to be a top player, and would have been drafted like one, had he put in the effort.

IMO, an "underdog" has to be someone that is on the fringe, that could easily fail, but overcomes this, and succeeds anyway, a nobody who becomes a somebody.
