FentayeJones
Hundreds of guys like Amsterdam enter the NFL and quickly wash out every year. A lot of these players are a dime a dozen.
Nino11
Was wondering the exact same thing. Wonder if him and Reedy get a shot this year
Lornoth
He was worked out by the Dolphins a few months ago. He never stuck anywhere though, that I'm aware of.

Falconsfan567
I was watching those Hard Knocks episodes since I didn't see them last year because I didn't have HBO then. My favorite part of what I saw was when HD, Julio and Roddy were out bowling. That was fun to see!

Tuggle'2
I love underdogs and I feel no shame in that. I liked the kid, he just didn't have enough to make it. Wish him well.

Well, my name sake is probably the one that got me into loving the underdog. Burflict is also another great example.

JBOPPER
Really curious as to why Tyler Starr is still on this roster and why we`ve not seen or heard anything sinceHard Knocks last year.
Lornoth
Really curious as to why Tyler Starr is still on this roster and why we`ve not seen or heard anything sinceHard Knocks last year.Because he's one of the best 90 people we could obtain this year. One of the best 53 we could find last year.

Not injured, just another weird decision from the coaches imo. They showed him a lot on the sidelines shadowing the defensive coaches during games though, so he's been learning and working. I'm interested to see what Quinn gets out of him.
delaigle
08/30/2014 Waived CB Ricardo Allen, S Sean Baker, WR Jeremy Ebert, G Harland Gunn, T Terren Jones, WR Bernard Reedy, DT Travian Robertson, TE Mickey Shuler, and LB Jacques Smith. Reached an injury settlement with WR Geraldo Boldewijn.

AndySG
Eh. He looked decent on hard knocks because they were creating a storyline. He had good size, but (as mentioned earlier) he's no different to a load of physical guys who probably went undrafted this year. We are stacked at receiver - he's not going to make it with us. hjerry
The best that I can gather, he never fully recovered from his injury. We even worked him out again, at a time when it would have made sense for him to have been recovered, but nothing ever came of it.
hjerry
Yeah, they can be fun. Lots of times these underdogs are actually overlooks. My faves are the ones who fell out of the draft...like Burfict. You see though, Burfict wasn't an underdog. He was a 1st round pick, that decided not to give a **** for his final season, and fell out of the draft b/c of it. He always had the physical tools to be a top player, and would have been drafted like one, had he put in the effort.IMO, an "underdog" has to be someone that is on the fringe, that could easily fail, but overcomes this, and succeeds anyway, a nobody who becomes a somebody.
