Kenyan Drake On Why He Chosen Bama Over Dawgs: "i Like To Be A Winner"

Maybe his dad and him are bitter but let's get serious for a minute. He committed to Alabama. Not Coastal Carolina or Valdosta State. So obviously he has some serious talent.

Absolutely he has talent. If he could have kept his nose clean and didn't have the attitude, I'd of loved to have had him in Athens.

Im sure uga is so torn up that he isn't in athens.

Not.

yep.. UGA choose keith marshall and todd gurley over drake.. the kid and his dad need to get over it. UGA isn't at all concerned with drake, but it's clear he still is with UGA. UGA isn't hurting for running backs.. LOL

Said wouldn't comment again, but seems like a lot of people are upset and Keith was a bust(college wise) he's actually in the same line as Drake right now except from what I know Keith was 5 star vs Drake being 4 star. So that hurts a little worse.

No one said UGA hurting for RB's, but they hurting for something lmao!

Can't really label Keith Marshall a bust. He keeps getting hurt and has this final year still to play. Caleb King was a bust.

Well only college wise so far I had told people that Gurley during that time back in like 2010 or 2011 he was going to be the better of the 2, and you're right probably went to far with the bust comment he has done some things we're not going to talk about King or Samuel...smh. Look I still pay attention to UGA on certain things I'm just waiting for Mark Richt to be fired or just go away on his own.

Still Keith and Drake pretty much stack up stats wise in the same way 1 year they were decent the rest injury prone big time.

the injuries can't really blame him for that.. KM however hasn't been suspended and has done things right while in Athens. he doesn't have an attitude issue like drake does and has shown. the bottom line is drake and his dad are bitter and angry which is ridiculous.. they should be happy he is healthy and able to play this season... those who want to hate on UGA and spend all their time hating on the Dawgs will do so. they will ignore the facts about this and instead jump on an agenda which sorta get in the way. the reality is the #2 and #5 rbs were UGA's top targets and it was a great decision by our staff.

I just can't it's kinda of fun I can say the same about most here though cause that's all I hear right now.

Look keeping it simple. I just gave an opinion on Kenyon Drake saying he wanted to be a winner, and why he might be saying that. The other stuff some I've been corrected on I acknowledge that, but others sounds like people being bitter dawg fans as usual(At least that's what it sounds like imo).

Living in athens myself people wanted the kid even when we got both KM and Gurley I know that as fact. Still he's only being asked these questions.

Yeah, I used too argue with the dad on the AJC blogs. Good times. It's exactly as you are saying Sac.

yep many of us have unfortunately dealt with him and his diatribes and tantrums on boards.. everytime i think about his dad and it's discussed i picture those commercials with that bitter beer face.. LOL okay i found it:

wish Miami had him too. He is a monster

I am okay with him being at alabama especially with who we have on campus, but he is the one rb we really wanted and didn't get. however ultimately it helped us by not getting him that we got chubb and sony michel in the same class so i am not at all upset about that. the less crowded our backfield was the better for that class. i will tell you this man i talked to guys about sony and nick and a lot of guys told me that sony michel was the better running back between the two heading into the year. now this was based on practice, but not of course in the game. sony is just that special of a talent. that one thing i love about sony is what he does in other areas like special teams. people forget he had an impact in that area as well.

This is going to make the Bama/UGA game that more interesting. Speaking of that game if Bama loses I wonder what the excuses will be? Sun was too bright and it distracted Bama? Crowd wouldn't be quiet while Bama offense was on the field

not sure on the excuse. we know it will be something.. he blamed the fans for getting their tails kicked by utah. he blamed the draft grades for losing to ohio state.. maybe it could be he blames the sun, but more than likely he will blame the media for hyping up his team to his team which made them not concentrate.. or he could blame his player's fat girlfriends.. lol

we will see if that is any affect at least in the pregame regarding it. seriously i haven't heard drake's name mentioned by anyone close to UGA's program or even fans until his comment yesterday. after his dad stopped his trolling and complaining (which was when gurley showed he was a heck of a player and keith had that nice freshman season) no one has even thought about him. i really don't think one UGA player gives a crap about what he says nor coach. that was more for the fans like i mentioned earlier and for him and his dad.

what will make that game very interesting is what will the two teams look like heading into it.. both have qb question marks and it will be interesting to see if either team has an answer there. both team's like to do the same kind of stuff so they are basically mirror images of each other. what really stinks for me is i might not be in town for that game. i had planned to be there with some friends, but i might have to be gone due to work stuff.

No excuses coming from them just good game, but you got to wonder how it's going to look for UGA last time they faced Alabama, and that was the year they were supposed to "do something"..............yeah how that go again?

Sad part about GA fans is their asking others about excuses yet they are the king of it. Steve Spurrier has been calling Athens out for years, and yet nothing to show for it. No this statement doesn't mean I think Steve is some great coach etc.

Wonder what's going to happen once this year is over is there always next year?

Last time UGA faced Bama was a de facto national title game. Aside from the game that's commonly referred to as the blackout funeral game... that is literally the only game between these teams that I've seen that wasn't a classic. I fully expect Bama @ UGA this year to be an incredible game. They are nearly mirror images in terms of how the game is played on the field and have very comparable rosters of talent. A lot of these players know each other pretty well and while the teams don't really have a rivalry, it has the feel of one every single time they play. Should be a great game.

yep should be a great game. the last game we played it was an amazing game.. i am sure this will be one as well. the fact that we are basically mirror images of each other it one reason i love this matchup. i like to see two teams that do what they do so well. hopefully both teams are healthy heading into that game. the big question for both is at qb. whoever answers that question could very well win that game.

oh i did forget one more excuse youngbloodz.. nick saban blame draft grades for why they lost to ohio state.. kirby blamed (thank you jay for the reminder) the players for being overconfident facing a 3rd string qb.. guess the dc and head coach need to talk about their excuses they use for losing.. they don't agree with each other. LOLOL

Do you even know Nick Saban. That dude is full of excuses. He's got some whoppers.

Okay that Kenyon Drake was only apart of 2012 and 2014 NCG runs he redshirt the first one, and couldn't play in the second. I got that, and said I understood that because I agreed with what Carter said earlier which means I backed off my first post, or whichever post it was, but still he was there regardless. I'm more so harping on the fact he "likes to win" that's the part I'm getting at.

Also some don't realize Georgia always kicked butt at recruiting we have had Top 10 to Top 5 to even Top 3 classes before. I know because when I did follow Bulldogs I read up on that always, and they never showed anything for it.

Ah, there it is. Now I remember that you are the guy who switched from being a UGA fan to Bama fan once they started winning again. Enough said.

I've been had ph34r.png

Yep only gone because I want Richt gone seriously.

Well don't know if it's when Alabama started winnning again. I just recently switched I've pretty much followed UGA this whole time up until like Week 6 last year, and just decided I had enough.

@WOR

Trust me I've talked to people around here that aren't falling over Richt think they'd like FSU/Oregon/Ohio State/Florida/LSU/Bama/Anyone else for the past 15 years when I made that statement wasn't talking about the RB situation any longer.
