Video Of Alford Putting In Work

Recommended Posts

Lots of folks seemed to already throw in the towel on Alford, and I just don't see how. He struggled last year with the rules changes that I saw. He has the potential to blow up and I still really like the kid.

This is the problem man. A lot of folks get caught up on past players. Some say Alford = Houston, but Alford is a natural playmaker with WR hands and return ability. I see Alford and think pick-6.

Me too! I always think Asante, honestly figured I would be crucified for saying it though. Not that I normally care I just didn't have the energy right now. lol

Noway, that's a decent comparison man. Coming from someone who hates comparisons...lol. I thought Deangelo Hall. could care less about people's hang ups. Asante is a great comparison though.

Alford may never be as consistently good as Trufant but he's a play maker. I'll take that any day of the week.

Said it last year and I'll say it again. Hes made to play nickle corner which essentially is a player who plays over 50% of the snaps. He's an important part of our defense. You all saw how important Jeremy Lane was last year to the Seahawks.

I don't care if he plays dime. He's a playmaker and as long as he does that a couple of times when it counts this season, he's all good in my book.

Nobody will ever be as hot garbage as chris houston.

Anybody who says otherwise hasn't seen Chris Houston play.

I remember when they were first drafted there was some rumblings of Alford being more Pro-ready then true based on his superior ball skills. I have always believed once he git his technique down his natural athleticism gave him a high ceiling. Hope he turns it around this year but he wasn't as bad as people made him in my eyes. Although he might be responsible for the start of ODB's reign of terror lol
