FentayeJones
Buffalo Bills offensive line coach Aaron Kromer was arrested after an altercation with his neighbor's son in Florida early Sunday morning, authorities told the Daily News.Walton County Sheriff's Office Public Information Officer Corey Dobridnia said Kromer, 48, was arrested at 1:30 a.m. Sunday at a home he owns in Inlet Beach Fla. Officers responded to the house after the football coach was allegedly involved in a fight, she said. She did not release the age of the victim or any further details of the incident.Kromer was charged with misdemeanor battery, Dobridnia said, which means he did not cause permanent bodily damage to the victim, she said. The suspect was booked at Walton County Jail for about 90 minutes and released on no bail shortly after 3 a.m. Sunday, she said. The Bills did not immediately return a message seeking comment.Kromer worked last year as the offensive coordinator for the Chicago Bears and was hired by Rex Ryan to run the offensive line for his first year as the head coach in Buffalo after being fired from the Jets after last season. He was mired in controversy last year when he admitted he was the anonymous source behind an NFL Network report criticizing the team’s franchise quarterback, Jay Cutler. The report indicated the team had a case of “buyer’s remorse” regarding the quarterback and that he “absolutely killed” the team’s offense. The 15-year NFL veteran also worked for the New Orleans Saints and was on the staff that won the Super Bowl in 2009. He also served as the interim head coach for the team for the first six games in 2012 after the league's Bountygate scandal.http://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nfl/buffalo-bills-offensive-line-coach-arrested-for-battery/ar-AAcSxux?ocid=DELLDHP
