Trouble
The Saints took wide receiver Nick Toon in the fourth round of the 2012 NFL draft, and in his first three seasons he hasn’t done much. Toon spent his rookie season on injured reserve, caught four passes in 2013 and caught 17 passes in 2015.This story is a RC exclusive. This year, the Saints think things will be different.Saints coach Sean Payton said that the team has seen more from Toon than just the limited amount he’s shown in games, and the Saints believe he can be a significant player in their passing game this season.“We saw at times last year in practice, even though he’s not receiving reps in the games, certainly we’ve seen his progression, he understands the system well and he’s working hard,” Payton said, via the New Orleans Advocate. “I think the key is just getting snaps, but I think we’ll see his snaps go way up.”Saints quarterback Drew Brees noted that when Toon started getting playing time late last season, he made the most of it, with all 17 of his catches last year coming in Weeks 12-17.The Saints’ two leading receivers from last year, Jimmy Graham and Kenny Stills, are gone this year. That means someone is going to have to pick up the slack. That someone may be Toon, who will get a lot more opportunities than he has in his first three seasons. They will need someone to pick up the slack for Jimmy Graham. Trouble
A lot of hopes and dreams riding on Brees. But for his money you gotta be able to perform.
Trouble
If there season gets bad they will try and move up and draft another one.If not, i guess we will see if Payton is actually in it for the long run. By then the Benson case should play out.
Trouble
They will. He is only a patch job. Its hard enough finding a elite QB. But trying to find the next Brady or Rodgers is next to impossible. He is not that good.
Trouble
The Luck scenario was just crazy. They did a entire 360 with the whole franchise and didnt miss a beat.No id say the odds are against the saints pulling that off. Odds are against any team doing that. Trouble
Colts got real lucky. But i dont see the Saints getting the #1 pick. So even if they trade up its not going to help. They might get a solid 2nd choice QB if the pieces fall in line. But the better season they have, the harder they make it to replace him.

Aquietguy
Don't forget Stills is gone as well...their running game better come through or they are fubarThat's where Jones and Coleman come in. We must really be high on them to let Graham go I
BayouBengalz
They will need someone to pick up the slack for Jimmy Graham. it won't be toon. Can we give up on this guy already, 4 year pro and he's done squat. Cooks will lead the receivers in yards and TD's and I actually think Coleman, Jones, and Hill have a better chance to shine than Toon.
