Ajc Coverage Of Hawks And Free Agency Is Pathetic!

And we wonder why our front office drags there feet more often times than not. After the series against Cleveland, this team should be trying to get better and bigger at center. Our undersized front line along with Korver's lack of athleticism at the 2 finally caught up with us. Re-signing Millsap is not going to improve this team. Find a real center and let Al play the 4.

Got distracted. Didn't finish my thought.

Has anyone seen the lack of coverage on free agency from the Ajc? It's like the Hawks are an afterthought, even after an outstanding year. A lot of times we get upset when the national media doesn't give us any pub. But guess what, our local media does an worse job of publicizing /covering the team. The perception around the league is that the city/franchise is not a serious contender. We all know that perception is oftentimes reality. But after 60 wins, a new owner, and a fabulous city like Atlanta, why arent the Hawks a destination for players? I never understood it.

Real basketball fans want to see or hear what plans the front office has for free agency. The little info/rumored info we do get comes from the NBA channel or Sirius NBA. If you're waiting for the Ajc, you'll be out of luck.

I hope the front office finally goes after a true center and puts Al at the 4 where he should be. I just don't see us reaching that next level with and undersized front line of Al and Millsap. Give me one of the Lopez's, Monroe, Gasol, or someone. Make a real effort. The worse thing they could do is stand pat at this point. Ride the wave of momentum while you have it.

I bet he still starts at 5,with Paul at the 4 yet again... Most likely they'll have bigger centers off the bench, but not too start.

well we do know Pero and Brand won't be back. I guess I could live with Robin Lopez off the bench.

BTW, I think Tobias Harris could be a stud playing with Atlanta. I like his game and potential.

But to your point, yes. Is there when a Hawks article on AJC.com? Last I saw it was uga stufd

But they will overload you with the Braves b.s. Even when they lose. Remember last year, the AJC didn't even send the beatwriter out to cover the team on the west coast road trip. PATHETIC!! Edited by rollo lawson
