Romfal
http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000498817/article/clemson-ol-isaiah-battle-entering-supplemental-draftClemson offensive tackle Isaiah Battle will enter the NFL supplemental draft next month, and according to NFL Media analyst Lance Zierlein, the Denver Broncos and Atlanta Falcons are two teams that could invest a pick in the talented Tigers starter. Denver's interest could stem from a recent injury toRyan Clady, and Battle's skill set is a good fit for new Falcons offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan's scheme, Zierlein noted.According to a release by the school, Battle is entering the draft largely for personal reasons. "I have some family matters to address, with a child due this summer, and I feel it is in my best interest to enter the NFL Supplemental Draft," Battle said. "I want to thank everyone at Clemson, especially Coach Swinney and the assistant coaches, for what they have done for me the last three years. I also want to thank my teammates. They have all had a big impact on my career." Battle has started 16 career games for the Tigers, including 11 last season, and Zierlein said he would be shocked if Battle was not chosen in the draft. The draft commonly goes without a player selection because teams that make a supplemental draft pick lose a choice in the corresponding round in the next year's regular draft. Only 42 players have been chosen in the 38-year history of the supplemental draft. Battle should make No. 43. "Battle has terrific length on his 6-foot-6 frame and is quick to land hands on pass rushers to disrupt their attack," Zierlein noted.West Georgia pass rusher Darrius Caldwell has also declared for the draft, as has one of his teammates on the West Georgia defensive line, Dalvon Stuckey. North Carolina Central's Adrian Wilkins has declared, as well. The date for when the 2015 NFL Supplemental Draft will be held has yet to be determined. Last year's supplemental draft was held on July 10. Any Clemson fans have more on him?
Lornoth
3 Clemson players in one offseason would be weird. Bring him on though, if he can play. I wonder what round pick we'd have to give up to land him.

Unintentional Grounding
Yea.... Although the Clemson oline is always been a walking disaster. Never on the same page. This past two seasons have been single players trying to individually play without team work.

hjerry
Well, we do have 2 Clemson guys, who played against him every day in practice, so we should be able to get a solid eval on him, both as a player and as a person.

MayorWest13
The Clemson Insider reports Clemson LT Isaiah Battle declared for the Supplemental Draft because he had committed his "third and final" disciplinary strike.Although he wasn't charged with a crime, Battle was issued citations for speeding and possession of marijuana earlier this month. He was apparently going to be kicked off Dabo Swinney's team. They're issues teams will have to sort through as they decide whether to use a 2016 draft pick on Battle in this summer's Supplemental Draft. There hasn't been a player taken in the Supplemental Draft since Josh Gordon in 2012.

"Sources told us he left the team because this was the third and final strike for the senior left tackle," Will Vandervort writes. "We were told, "He had no money left in the bank."' Battle stated his reasoning to enter the Supplemental Draft was due to the upcoming birth of his child. Either way, Battle's time with Clemson would have seemingly ended soon. AndySG
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q8JXflGuacIOh. He was THAT guy. Let's use the "which round would you have drafted him in?" logic. If the answer is 7th then don't give up a 6th for him, etc.
Return of the Gaucho
I mean, with the disciplinary issues and it being the supplemental draft, I am not seeing this guy get picked at all. I would just wait and see if you can get him for nothing and have him compete for depth. This OL can't have enough depth...
