AtlantaFanatic
Are you implying that we now have a coach that is standing on the machines now as the players push them?

AtlantaFanatic
Meh.I'm not a Smitty fan either and I love Quinn but two pictures with no context isn't a good way to make that argument IMO

clownorg
For me, the true difference hasn't been seen yet. Remember Smitty arrived here as well with a fire.I wanna see Quinn 3-4 seasons in if he still has it or if he's burned out like Smitty was.. THAT will be the TRUE difference
Navin
Meh. Where is his clipboard? Who coaches without a clipboard?
Falkonator
2 pictures,2 different portions of practice, doesn't say much based on what Ur trying to say or argue about. Find a picture of our guys pushing the sleds when smitty was here, that be something worth comparing, not 2 pictures from different parts of a practice. runshoot
I went to camp Tuesday. I have been to training camp many years under Smitty. There is a major difference in the work speed, energy, detail and most of all interaction by the coaching staff. Rarely under Smitty did I see any of the coaches getting in "the mix". Tuesday I saw Coaches all over the field, interacting with players, teaching, coaching and correcting. We already know this is a bigger staff than before, and you can see why. Quinn wants individual level attention to detail and teaching. Very Very different than before under Smitty. Now, Even the guys on the sidelines were being yelled at, when someone on the field made a mistake. They were making sure everyone was engaged by this coaching staff.I am NOT saying this negative to coach Smith. I am not saying this new stuff means championship. What I am saying is that there is a big change at flowery branch and its very noticable. Only time will tell if it pays off.

Falkonator
If you can't read the title look at the pic and not understand what I was implying then I can't help you.my point is, your showing a picture of one coach on the sled,a certain portion of practice. Tha. Another coach standing during a different portion of a practice.(prob 7-7,11-11) and saying what a difference. 2 different practice moments, just isn't a clear argument when Quinn would be standing wqtchin 7-7 drills as well. I'm not a fan of Smith(wanted him gone since 2011) but their is no need to further bash the man intentional or unintentionally.
Lornoth
You have to spell it out X, people don't make mental leaps around here.Love to keep hearing/seeing the change in action, this year will be fun.

JayOzOne
I can't diss Smitty for any reason (although I have a few) but Quinn has the opportunity to do something special. The change was absolutely necessary and I commend the Falcons front office for the hire.
peoriabird
I know this has been covered already but the press conferences are a thousand times better. Quinn goes into detail and tries to answer every question with insightful information. Quinn actually sounds like he knows what he is doing... It is a night and day comparison. Quinn is so enjoyable and informative. This is a coach that I will be rooting for for a very long time!
