Butudontseeme™
This is outside of the QB position, but Julio was ranked by NFL.com as the 3rd most Indespensible player in the league, citing "the Falcons just can't compete without Julio." While it seems dumb to ignore the terrible defense we've fielded over the past two years and the non-existent run game, what day you? Can the Falcons compete without #11? http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000496388/article/adrian-peterson-tops-nfls-most-indispensable-offensive-players?campaign=facebook_writers_schein

Tribal Chief
I wouldn't go as far as saying the Falcons can't compete without him but he's definitely an important part of Matt Ryans success.

Drunken Minotaur Zebra
If we had a decent OL Matt Ryan could make up quite well for lacking Julio. But we don't. So..Do these people also forget that MR did just fine up until 2011 also?

Guest facelessman07
We could compete with decent receivers and a stout defenseI just cannot condone the statement that we cannot compete without him. Once your team becomes too dependent on 1 player your team can/will struggle
WCFalcon
The three years before julio: 33-15Four years since julio: 33-25We could compete before we had him..Not only did we have Tony and Gonzo, but we had a Roddy White that posted strong numbers; and unfortunately, I would say that Roddy is on the decline. We also had a decent defense so that helped.

antdaniels123
Please before Julio Roddy was in his prime as one of the top 5wrs in the game turner was in his prime arguably the best Back and the Best Te to ever play so those numbers before Julio are a lit skewed
Jigglypuff
Honestly, we almost win vs green bay then we lose the next game cause Julio is out. I 100% agree with this article

Atlfanstckndenver
I hope y'all mofos are right. He's getting payed 16 million a year! Trust me. Just look at the win loss record since Julios arrival. Julio is nothing more than a glistening hood piercing. Trust me. /purpleTrust me
likeriver
Matt Ryan managed almost as well last year without Julio and Roddy for most of the season. He's a luxury but not a necessity.
Barry Allen
Julio is by far my favorite player right now and our best player when healthy. HOWEVER, I would take a solid offensive line (top 3) over him any game. We have seen how good Matt does when his oline protects him. He could shred any defense.. kiwifalcon
Man he was developed here and I hope the guy retire's here.We let Farve & Dieon hit the road, for me if we groom it we should keep it not do the hard yards so some other team can reap the rewards please enough all ready.Rising cap stop worying about what he's going to get paid.Cap management is a strength of this FO. slamee101
When 31 other teams would love to have a player I think he is pretty valuableYea, I don't let it rustle my jimmies anymore. Most fanbases have this phenomenon going on where they grass is greener, etc. Whenever I talk to fans of other teams about Julio and some MB folks saying we should let him go, etc. they talk about that's the dumbest sh*t I think I've heard all week, let him come to our team, etc. Our team is deficient in other areas so some seem to think we'd have been better off with ______ (insert whatever defensive stalwart they feel the need to mention, etc.)Reality is JJ Watt, Justin Houston, etc. are great players but they've had very little success in the postseason because...the team is poorly constructed. You even have some fans in both of those fanbases talking about those guys aren't as valuable as outsiders seem to think but nobody with good sense would say get rid of those guys. They're young and valuable and you need to build around them. Falcons have two guys that shouldn't be going anywhere and that's #2 and #11.
