How Often Do You Vacation A Year?

Never once in my life.

I get 3 weeks a year and I usually take 1 week to get some things done around the house.

Usually a guy's trip skiing.

Usually a week in June/July with the family.

Occasionally a long weekend with the Mrs.

I get five a year but usually just stay home for 3 of them.

I get 4 weeks a year plus a bunch of floating holidays. I typically will spend one week at home doing crap around the house, one week at the beach, and the rest traveling to away UK games.

Last vacation was January of last year. I get 24 days, wife gets 25 days, but good luck actually using them.

A few times a year, but some of them are working vacations (seminars, CLE, etc.) and those are short, more like long weekends. Just with the family, usually once a year. I'd like to go twice, but we're starting a business, so it's harder to set aside time and money right now.

about 3 to 4 weeks vacation and 2 floating holidays... I spend 3 of them with my church conferance .... and a week with the family the rest are 1 or 2 days spread out through the year...

I've got 6,000 posts and I've been on the boards since the Reeves Era . . . . that works out to about 425 vacations per year.

1 week in France every late March/early April (although technically a work trip it's still France and doesn't go against my vacation time).

4 days in Spring usually a stay-cation to get stuff done around the house.

1 week in Summer to Destin. My side of the family's yearly beach get together.

4-5 days in October for anniversary with the wife. Savannah, Charleston, Highlands NC typically

I usually take one proper week-long vacation per year, a generous amount of of 3-day-weekend mini-vacations through summer and early fall, and a day here or there to pad Christmas/Thanksgiving/New Year's or whatever.

23-25 days + any day the market is closed, we get off. Going on 2-3 this year and hope for 3-4 next year.

I usually take a day or two around Christmas to go back to SC and visit the family. Other than that, I can't get enough time out of work to be able to vacation (got about a month acrewed, can't leave the office for more than maybe two consecutive days).

1 week a year paid, but I can pretty much be gone as much as a month at a time in the right scenario... Usually summer or winter.

So, when I was in a band, we'd be on the road for 3-4 weeks straight at some point, then a few 10-14 day runs up & down the coast, to SXSW, etc.

Now, the wife & I tend to take one big trip to an international destination & a smaller domestic trip per year.

I can take a bunch of 3-5 day trips throughout the year as well... To the beach, mountains, etc.

Usually one trip stateside, but this year an additional week in Gran Canaria and I'm also going to be driving from down south in Germany to Denmark over the course of a week.

The week I had in Gran Canaria was the most relaxed I've ever felt. I rarely go away and sit in one place for more than a day or two, so that was bliss. Going back for 2 weeks next year.
