Hey, remember spring training, when Young was doing pretty well and Fredi went "yup, that's our centerfielder" and most of us went "that's stupid to base this decision on just spring training when a player has a long track record of mediocrity"?

As if on que, after I posted in another thread in support of Maybin, he gets an infield hit, steals a base, moves to third on a wild pitch, then scores on a single.

I ragged hard on Maybin after we made that trade but he has really surprised me. I'm glad he has because he seems to be a good guy and teammate.
