Lornoth
Can't wait to see Hage and Alf get out onto the field, even in Preseason. I love what I've been hearing about them so far. Interesting that he specifically mentioned Phillip Adams as well, our CB group is really shaping up well.
Herr Doktor
I love how quickly and confidently Quinn answered the question about Shembo.Me to. A breath of fresh air. Concise and confident.
g-dawg
Me to. A breath of fresh air. Concise and confident.agreed, but this is even better than all the early press conferences - you can tell that he not only has the energy, but that he is a "hands on" head coach. I love what he said about competition - I believe that was really lacking in the Smitty regime where there was a hierarchy.I also loved when he said he was not patient about players learning. He understands they are learning and getting faster in defensive scheme but when asked if he was patient about that he said "not really". g-dawg
I felt more enegy in that 8 minute OTA press conference than 8yrs of Smitty regime.

He made us relevant, bringing us out of the basement that was the Petrino/Harrington 2007 season, turning us around in one year. I would have liked to have seen him take us to the promised land, since he is such a great guy, but it wasnt to be. He is still to this day our greatest coach ever. I know that statement pains most of you.

A lot of coaches would just blow by that but he straight up "nope"d all over it. I've never been so excited for a football season. I've almost forgotten what it was like to root for a team with good defense...

Him hiring Murlarkey and Koetter should have shown that this dude didn't know what the h e l l he was doing.
chazbykr
Back to back comments but heil, there's no how high were you drafted or such crap. We're going with the peeps who're gonna bring it. Man this is going to be fun!!!!
FuhRealDoh
Man I'm so pumped Quinn is our coach. I love what he's saying. I actually look forward to his press conferences. With Smitty (not hating) it was very difficult to watch actually. Eventually, I did stop watching. I can only imagine people/players stopped listening. Quinn even motivates ME! A fan. You can tell he loves this ish. This is going to be a whole lotta fun y'all. Can't wait to see what we field this year, and how we develop moving forward. And yeah the Hageman comments are nice to hear.
Jigglypuff
the great thing about Quinns defense is there isn't really any secrets, so he doesn't have to hide much, it's like a sprint at a track meet, what are you gonna do take a shortcut? nope it's whoever is faster wins, everybody runs the same route

I know that statement pains most of you.I have always given Smitty his due. Until Quinn proves otherwise, Smitty is the most successful HC in Atlanta Falcons history. I hope he does not retain the title for a very long time - but in our 49 year history - Smitty is IT and there is not a close 2nd.But Smitty is not and was not EVER going to get us any further - i appreciate what he did - but it was time to move on. paulitik
Love the presser. He actually says something in his press conference instead of the usual vague subterfuge and coach speak.
