On the Defenses:

2014:

Falcons were ranked 32nd in total yards allowed and 27th in total points allowed.

Colts Ranked 22nd in total yards allowed and 17th in total points allowed.

2013:

Falcons were ranked 27th in Total yards allowed and 27th in total points allowed.

Colts were ranked 20th in total yards allowed and 9th in total points allowed.

While his Offense may not have had the tools ours had, he had significantly better defenses. But don't let the facts get in the way of your point.

Torris left out one thing....

Over 4 NFL seasons, Andrew Luck has thrown for a total of 43 career passing interceptions, which is an average of 14.3 intercepted passes per season. His highest intercepted pass season came in 2012 when he threw for a total of 18 interceptions.

Over his career, Andrew Luck has thrown the most intercepted passes against the New England Patriots with a total of 10. His personal record for most interceptions thrown in a single game is 4 passing interceptions. His highest interception rate came in 2012 when 2.9% of his 627 pass attempts were intercepted (18 INTs)

One the other hand....

Ryan completed 66 percent of his passes for 4,694 yards and a 28:14 TD:INT ratio. The 14 picks are the second-most of his career. Ryan was also sacked 31 times and has taken 75 of them the past two seasons behind a horrific offensive line.

Ryan's been sacked 75 times the last two seasons? Man that's just depressing.

Then there's the argument of Ryans weapons. Has luck ever had a receiving core of Roddy, Julio, and a HOF TE who excelled at getting open?

Lucks best receiver has been T.Y Hilton. Dude is 5'8.

He also had Reggie Wayne, who is being severely underrated in this thread.

It doesn't matter how many weapons you have when you have half a second to throw the ball. Just because T.Y Hilton is 5'8 doesn't make him a bad Wr. He's actually a pretty good player. Being 5'9 didn't stop Steve Smith from being dominant in his career.

I dont get all the Luck love....

He has the tools, but too many INTs and not enought production in a shabby division

What QB would you take if you had any choice you wanted in the league? People hands down would take Luck and so would I. He's an amazing QB and person..Still young and learning even, Strong as an Ox to boot. He's one of the best NFL players in the league.. I think I'd have him as #1 then , Watts. If not going by anything but talent.
