Knight of God
http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000495177/article/tony-lippett-surprising-dolphins-after-position-changeA majority of breathless voluntary workout updates cover the menial weight gains and losses of certain players and how "the game has slowed down" for them this past offseason. But here's something that actually interests us out in Miami: A fifth-round draft pick and All-Big Ten wide receiver who is turning heads at cornerback. Tony Lippett, one of Around The NFL's Draft Diary alums, is a 6-foot-3 project corner who came to the combine as a potential mid-round pick at two positions. However, the chance to get a player with that size and skill on the outside was too enticing to pass up.And Monday, Lippett picked off three passes in practice, according to the Sun Sentinel."Tony showed up today, that's for sure," defensive coordinator Kevin Coyle said.Added head coach Joe Philbin: "The fact of the matter is, he got his hands on three footballs. That's a good thing no matter how you look at it."Though Lippett still has to fight to make Miami's roster, his versatility can't hurt. Teams gush over potential during the draft but are often too quick to throw away good talent just because they don't have the time to properly develop it.Lippett might be avoiding that trap altogether by getting off to such a fast start. JayOzOne
We haven't even had mini-camps. It's a little early for project corners who pick off Matt Moore and Josh Freeman to be compared to Richard Sherman.

Knight of God
Not sure what it is, I never took Lippett as a CB though. Its interesting. Want to see what happens.
JayOzOne
Lippett had a great game against OSU in the 2013 B1G championship game but otherwise didn't seem to stand out. Phins need cornerbacks, so it will be interesting to see if he makes it on upside and manages to develop into Richard Sherman, Jr.
