FentayeJones
The Atlanta Falcons also waived rookie LB Derrick Malone on Friday, according to the NFL transactions release. The Falcons placed 2014 fourth-round LB Prince Shembo on waivers Friday as well.Malone signed on with the Falcons as an undrafted free agent out of Oregon back in early May, but his time with the team was obviously short lived. During his senior season at Oregon, Malone recorded 85 tackles, eight tackles for a loss, a half sack, one forced fumble and two pass defenses.I'm thinking we waived Malone to free up a spot for Chester. But anyway, we have two roster spots open.http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/transactions Edited May 30, 2015 by FentayeJones
Sheldon Cooper
They would not need to waive Malone for Chester given the Shembo release. Malone must not have cut the mustard this week at OTA's. I did not see him with much of a chance anyway. Akunne figures to have better chance challenging Spruill for backing up Justin Durant. I'd say loser between Akunne or Spruill has good chance at PS. Romfal
Two cuts in one day, one signing? One more to go, wonder who?the positions I'd consider are RB, QB, LB as far as lack of camp bodies.

hjerry
the positions I'd consider are RB, QB, LB as far as lack of camp bodies.I don't see this regime signing "camp bodies"We're being more methodical. The "sign some TE, just cut by his 5th team, b/c we also just released a TE, and must have the same number at all times" approach seems to be dead. We'll sign someone only if they are someone that we want to sign. Otherwise, we can just have an empty roster spot.

MR Falcon
You never know, but teams usually don't start training camp without a full roster of 90. That's why I am expecting some more moves/signings.
