Next Phase Psl Sales To Start... Other Section Prices Soon...

Recommended Posts

I'm having an online meeting with my rep tomorrow (June 2). He said the prices were being approved and would be released tomorrow at 10am.

I told him I wasn't interested in spending 3 hours (including drive time) to find out about my "investment" opportunity. He was quite agreeable to doing it online and I did point out to him that I do not believe it is NOT an asset because he used that wording. The question is do I want to spend money to commit to the opportunity to buy season tickets. I have 4 this year. I can't see myself spending $20-22k (or even $10-11k for 2 tickets) for the right to spend even more money each year. But I'm looking to see if there are more reasonably priced options. I'm 99% sure I'll wait for the PSL fire sale in a couple of years. smile.png

As a side note, I priced out the ticket prices for each home game and compared them to buying the season tickets. The price (in my case) was $1100 per ST (8 games plus 2 pre-season games) and $1158 buying tickets individually (8 games, no pre-season tickets). Obviously the seats are higher up in the same section and there may be TM fees but the option to choose only certain games makes it compelling for future seasons.

Tandy...

It appears your corner seats will be $3500 each...

I am very curious about:

1. How closely they match my existing seats

2. If I will be able to add seats next to my assigned seats at point of sale

Well, at $3500, I will probably purchase if the seats are good. I love where I sit now. I like being near the tunnel where the Falcons come on and off the field.

I, too am curious about adding seats.

yeah I'm curious where mine will be. It better not be off more then a couple rows. That is where I draw the line.

I know - they say they are comparable. If so - I'm not happy about paying $3500 per seat - but I will.

I will never be happy about having to pay for the "right" to retain my seats for season tickets - when I've had them for years without having to pay for that privilege above and beyond the cost of season tickets. I am extremely unhappy that we can no longer just go through a great relocation process every year and possibly get seats in the same general area - a little closer or better situated. Now, we have to sell our current PSL and purchase another to move seats. That makes me unhappy.

BUT, (and it's a big, defeated BUT that I begin this sentence with) I love my Falcons - and even more, I love watching them at the game. I love everything about game day, from the tingling excitement when I wake up way too early on game day to get ready to drive 3 hours to the feeling when you are watching the guys come off the field and getting ready to head back to your car. I watch those games that I can't attend on TV - and it is just not the same. Not for me.

So, I defeatedly will purchase, I know - but I won't be happy about the change.

Tandy... Will post my full review soon... But here are the short answers:

My visit ran from 6:30 pm - 8:10 pm... But we talked about other stuff and there was no appointment after mine to press us. I would recommend late in the day appointments.

They stated that they considered within 5 rows as comparable. I stated that 5 rows higher was not comparable to me. That said, none of my seats was higher. Some were 2 rows lower.

Because the sideline and corner seats will be very high demand, and you have lower seats like me. You will not be able to add seats near you. We discussed the program were you request seats near you and they see who passes. But I elected not to do it. Because my seats are so low.

I bet you will be near the tunnel again, it is in the same corner. You may be on the other side of the tunnel, which is the $3000 PSL area.

Just like you stated above. I go to all games. Can't imagine not going. Glad it worked out.
