AndySG
What's he like as a blocker? Because that's what Quizz's strength was. Few better at the position.

He's also TJ Ward's little bro.Kinda of like Afred Morris being Mercury Morris's nephew.
AndySG
Glad to hear it. Running back is one of the positions where undrafted players CAN make a real difference. You can gameplan to accentuate their strengths (as we did with Antone last year). If you have a RB who is great at something but below average at other things it doesn't really matter. It's not as much of a disadvantage as it is if a linebacker, for example, can only do one thing.
ATL_DirtyBirds
Looks like a solid fit in the zone blocking scheme and could serve some spot carries. If we carry 4 RBs, I would see Jerome Smith getting the nod though and Ward being on PS. Tell me how many UDFA receivers were in last year's SB. It doesn't matter how many, just that they were there. They fit THAT system.
takeitdown
With these guys, in this system, it really just comes down to one thing...can they break arm tackles of linebackers. If they can't, they'll get 2 yards, if they can, they'll get 7.I'd prefer a bigger guy, but if you bring in 4 little guys, and one of them can break arm tackles...he can succeed in a one cut and go offense. Interested to see how all the backs fare.
FalconJim
Jacquizz Light --- I don't see him "sticking" through the 53 man cut-down --- we'll see...
Lornoth
I hope another RB sticks somewhere down the line. I'm somewhat nervous heading into a season with only Free and Coleman as guys that could carry the load. Tone is great but if one of the former two (or heaven forbid both) get injured and he's pressed into heavy-duty? Yikes....
Francis York Morgan
Eh. He's aight.Still kind of bitter and wishing we got David Johnson instead of Tevin Coleman tbh. I think Coleman will do well for us but I feel like Johnson is going to light up the league. Landed in a terrific situation, better than Coleman or Abdullah, that's for sure. It's a small nitpick of an excellent draft.

TSprings
Looks like id take Quizz anyday. Quizz looks just as powerful, I even like the way Quizz is built better, more lower body. I mean maybe his straight line speed isnt as fast, but this dude is no where near as quick. Speed: Smith, Coleman, Freeman, QuizzQuickness/ Elusiveness: Quizz ,Smith, Freeman, Coleman Power: Quizz, Coleman, Freeman, Smith (although non are super powerful but I think quizz gets lower than any off them and will get a tough yard with his quickness) Pass game: Freeman, Smith, Quizz, ColemanScheme fit in zone: Coleman, Freeman, Quizz, SmithColeman= 1cut burner Freeman= Balanced Quizz= ScatSmith= Big play waiting to happen Ward has nothing to offer IMO. Last season yes but in this system not so much.I don't really care what system it's in, Smith has butter fingers. Pass blocking may not be as important because of the west coast but he still needs to hold onto the ball. Also needs to be able to stay healthy, which I'm not sure he could with a full load. Romfal
Don't really see a lot that we don't have in our other backs. As someone else pointed out, Jerome Smith has a better shot to be our 4th back.
The O.D.B
Stout little fellow. Thoughts? Quizz Who?Sorry man, Quizz looked better coming out. Also, Quizz has only lost one fumble since high school. I'm glad your excited about this guy and I hope he's all you think but, he'll have to accomplish a lot to exceed Quizz's potential.
