Life After Tony

I'm surprised we havent discussed this more. I guess it was forgotten due to the weird 2014 season. The impending doom of life after tony has come and gone. So without the hof te that Ryan enjoyed, how deep did he sink?

As you can see, there was no change what so ever. The looky all his weapons debate is finally squashed. when you break it down, theres only been one year that ryan has had white, jones, and tony all together for a full year. and in that year there was no run game.

and yet he's been consistent year in year out, despite the poor quality oline.

in other words, eat it haters

Of course you all aren't gonna give any of this credit to Dirk Koetter. It couldn't possibly have been anything he was doing with Ryan and the rest of the offense......right?wink.png

The main mod Jeremy is a moron. They made the site more 'mobile-friendly' yet there's already a Huddle app. He doesn't know what he wants.

He had his best numbers under Dirk...when Tony WAS THERE. He had very little drop off once Tony was gone, but that had nothing to do with Koetter's offensive scheme? Okay.........rolleyes.gif

Some of ya just can't get the Homer rinsed out, huh?tongue.png

Says the guy guaranteeing his rookie QB will be top 5 in the league before he has taken a snap.

Just who is the real delusional homer??

Yep. Smitty was scared to allow Koetter to straight up change the playbook. He had Dirk use MMs playbook and verbage and install a few things of his own. The transition to completely Dirk was supposedly gonna take a few years. Makes me angry thinking about it again and typing this. These guys are professionals. NFL players have to learn new playbooks all the time. Was a stupid decision.

not to mention in 13 matt was using two audibles for play changes. one for the team. and one for Youngblood who played with Matt at bc...whole thing was a disaster

Oh god yes ... emot-doh.gif

If he called an audible it was a guaranteed run up the middle. Everybody knew it, but they still did it. Man Quinn and Shannahan have really been a breath of fresh air.

Yea it was sad when the commentators had figured out the calls and were successfully predicting plays

He has like 1.1 seconds before getting smeared by the defense. Not only are the dink and dunks practicable, they kept him off IR too.

Well with more attempts comes more yards. Which is why this argument for him maintaining his numbers due to his talent and not those around him is flawed.

There is a reason why Ryan's QBR has been sub-70 3 out of the last 4 years.
