Like Aldridge's Portland teams, I think the Mavs have maxed out and won't be winning anything soon. Ginobili and Duncan won't be around much longer but reports say that Aldridge has a lot of admiration for Gregg Popovich. If Aldridge wants to win now then I think an Eastern Conference team like Atlanta gives him the best chance to win. With Dallas or San Antonio, you'll play against better teams in the 1st round of the playoffs than you would with Atlanta in the East. With that said, I wouldn't be surprised to see him go to a media center like New York or Los Angeles or back to his home state of Texas.
