He isn't wrong.

CONCORD, N.C. -- Carolina Panthers linebacker Thomas Davis has heard all the chatter about how Atlanta and Tampa Bay have improved with offseason additions more than any other NFC South team.

Here’s what he thinks about that.

"You don’t improve by adding players to your team," Davis said Tuesday during a press event at Charlotte Motor Speedway, where he will drive the pace car for this Sunday’s Coca-Cola 600. "You improve by going out there and doing what we did [last year], coming together as a group, working hard and learning the defense, learning the offense and learning how to play special teams."

The Panthers started last season 3-8-1, then won their final four games to win the NFC South and a berth in the playoffs. Leaders such as Davis played a big role in the turnaround.

"At the end of the day, when the season starts, we’ll find out who really got better," Davis said.

I'm just curious... How many Super Bowls / National Championships does Thomas Davis have to his name...

...you know, since he knows all about building Championship teams and all.

Well the title of the article is 'Thomas Davis Confident Carolina is class of NFC South'

Here's your facts: Thomas Davis is a badazz

He a badazz that can predict the future when it comes to the Falcons. After that last regular season game, the media was wondering why none of them were surprised by the pick6s...... TD, along with some others in the secondary claimed they knew it was going to happen. TD and Boston predicted, to the rest of the players on defense, before the game, that the Panthers would have 2 to 3 pick6s.

You know, the bottomfeeder's opinions on the division crown might mean a tad bit more... if we hadn't snatched it away from and punked down both the other teams in contention for it to the tune of 75-13. Thank the Saints for that late garbage time touchdown in the last 2 minutes we allowed them to get for Brees and Payton's ego that it was 13 and not 6.

Lol Carolina needs to look in the mirror and they will see mediocre....them winning the division back to back years was less like a rise to the top and more like everyone else free fall to the bottom

was something no other team has done, in the history of our division. You are correct.

Thomas Davis would probably build a better team for the Falcons if he was their GM.

Their current GM shat the bed so bad that he had to take a reduced role, after he cried and whined ......and placed all the blame on Mike Smith.
