Perez PI knew this would happen. I really wish the Braves had a manager that was into the advanced statistics, or into statistics period because they would tell you to load up the lineup with all the left-handed bats you could tonight against Brett Anderson. Why? Here's why, Anderson has a reverse platoon split this season. LHB are smoking Anderson to the tune of .357/.410/.393 while RHB are hitting .261/.293/.396. Unknøwn
Pitch limit on Perez is 100 tonight, was 80 last time. Fredi said CJ will be with the Braves on Thursday or maybe even sooner if all goes well.

Perez PThere's been a change to the lineup. Pedro Ciracio will now start at 3B and hit 7th with Simba moving to 6th in the order.
Unknøwn
Callaspo and Ciriaco have combined to go 8-for-71 lately. Most of those ABs is Callaspo. Safe to say CJ might be brought back a lot sooner than Thursday.

Falconsfan567
It is so great to have a guy playing 2nd base that doesn't make you hold your breath every time the ball is hit that way.
Falconsfan567
Another hard hit single for C-Beth to the right side of 2nd base. Good work. His bat is starting to come around.
Falconsfan567
Christian Bethancourt is 8 for his last 30 with 4 doubles and 3 rbi. I know its an extremely small sample size but it's encouraging.
Falconsfan567
Mark Bowman @mlbbowman 5m5 minutes ago Sounds like Callaspo's days (or hours) with the #Braves might be numbered. But Daniel Castro is not coming up from Gwinnett.
Unknøwn
Could be Peraza but I dont think the Braves will bring him up until he can get regular ABs
Falconsfan567
Could be Peraza but I dont think the Braves will bring him up until he can get regular ABsI think it just means that when C.J. is activated instead of Ciracio going back to the minors the Braves are gonna DFA Callaspo instead. Falconsfan567
Gotta love the way Perez has battled this game. He's definitely shown why he was the Braves minor league pitcher of the year last year.
Falconsfan567
6 innings and only 1 run allowed by Williams Perez. Looks like the Braves have discovered a diamond in the rough.
capologist
I swear, get the kid out of the 1st inning and he does settle down pretty well. I also love the strides Maybin has made. He's fun to root for too!

Falconsfan567
Remember back when we had a deep bullpen? Like, last year?Seems like a long time ago. Hard to believe there are teams out there that have a worse bullpen than the Braves.Wow! Can't even get done typing this sentence and Nick Masset serves up the lead.
