Atlfanstckndenver
My sleeper's going to be Person. Underrated signing, overlooked by most, I think that he could end up as a big contributor. Any useful info on the guy? I'll admit I don't know much about him.
JayOzOne
I am excited about what Durant will bring the team on and off the field. After reading that he was a Mike Peterson disciple, I recalled that Peterson had a lot to do with Spoon's development as a leader of the defense. Somebody's going to need to send to send Beasley to the doughnut shop for the other linebackers in order to keep his ego in check. And Durant is my guess for who will do it. Additionally, I was encouraged by his performance on the field before he was injured last season.
Atlfanstckndenver
Ultimately I t think there is more than one good answer. If I had to pick just one, I'll agree with Torris and go with Claiborne. It's not like this guy has a ton of development to do. He just needs to stay healthy. Heck if he can come in and simply turn in a performance equal to that of his rookie year, he'd already have the support of the fanbase. 1989Fan
Durant is the best 'talent' we signed this offseason. Reed will win fans over too I think. That said, I think Schofield is going to be the guy. He knows the scheme, and in camps there have been reports that his speed of the snap is insane. Dont forget, NYG offered him a nice deal last offseason, but he then got hurt and failed the physical. He could win a lot of field time this year to show out. Clayborn is another underachiever who has a lot of ceiling potential.
jazzyburrell
Brooks Reed. Versatile athletic guy who can play both inside or outside LB. Great against the run, underrated pass rusherhttps://youtu.be/f6p0N0BTBHAI know us fans are quick to say a FA pickup was used improperly, but EVERY time I watched a game on Red Zone (and even when we played the Texans in preseason) he looked like a good pass rusher. I would see him get good pressure on one drive and then drop into coverage the next drive. This would have been okay if they had Clowney, but it was weird to see how infrequently they used him to rush the passer. Positive evidence? 4 Career Playoff games: 5 Sacks and 1 FF. Maybe if the rushed him more, they would have had more playoff appearances to save him for? I think we got a secret beast!
zekeyboy1
Beirmann. Because he's healthy, and pissed at the haters.

zekeyboy1
Yeah me too Tuggle. As much as I clown on Kroy, that Smith/Nolan defense was confusing as a MF...Quinn likes to keep things simple..Not to mention, it usually takes two years to fully recover from an injury like that. Not saying he was all world before the injury. But it wouldn't hurt to have some cheap depth...

Not saying he was all world before the injury. But it wouldn't hurt to have some cheap depth...Rewatching our games from last year Kroy was spectacular at keeping edge contain on run plays. He was shedding blocks and making stops for no gain consistently when the run went his way. I really think he may have been used the most incorrectly of anybody (besides Babs). Which is ironic considering he was Nolan's favourite piece. It'll be interesting to see him in a better system, when he can play to his strengths instead of having to be our only passrusher on the field and expecting him to pull that off somehow. Draftnut57
Reed, I couldn't believe we got him... I wanted him really bad in that draft.. I had him in my Mock Draft the year he was drafted..

tl;dr
Durant is my pick, but I'm excited to see Tamme. He isn't the best TE out there, but he is much better than Toilolo.
The Rock
Brian Schofield is my pick.

Sheldon Cooper
We need Clayborn, Durant, Reed, Schofield, Tamme, Moeaki, Hankerson, all those guys to have a big year. I hope they make it hard to say.
Guest Gritz
It's going to be Durant...I have a few followers on Twitter who are Cowboy fans. One of them told me that before he got hurt last year Durant was easily and clearly the best player on that Cowboy defense. He was genuinely sorry that the Cowboys lost him.
