jb 3.0
My wife and I watched this last night. Extremely sad and moving.I'll never joke about anyone having Alzheimer's again, particularly early onset Alzheimer's, and to those that I've said or alluded it to in the past (WFW in particular), my sincerest apology. I may believe someone to be a an extreme jackass, but I wouldn't wish this on anyone. Thing is, I've known people that had Alzheimer's, but I was never around it enough to see what it does to a person. I've not had a direct family member suffer from it, and I can only imagine the heartbreak it brings. My wife can't even talk about it, it scares her so much.I highly recommend you watch this if you haven't already. Just don't do it as a Saturday night date movie. Kevo
My wife and I were thinking about renting that yesterday. Will probably get it tonight. Wonder if it's on Netflix?
NawlinsLady
My father-in-law had it. My mother-in-law cared for him at home the whole time. It was a long, slow time.

SaintsFanInLA
My maternal grandfather had Alzeimer's. It's terrible. It is said that there are things you can do to stave it off, like mental puzzles, learning new languages, learning new musical instruments. DD: Objective Elite
Mother's been in the mid-stage for quite some time. The heartbreaking parts comes from her obvious frustration as she's increasingly forgetting where she is, who we are, etc.As I've said before, I'm fortunate my wife is an angel.
