nola90
This is a year pre-mature since we don't know how thigns will play out, but majority of RC thinks he's going to be an Atlanta Falcon, comes home and rejoins his coach.Issue is, does he do it on the cheap? I am sure he wants to get paid close to that 5th year option and I think if he does remotely well this year ~5-7 sacks with decent coverage grades, he will get at least 6-7mil/yr.Now the question is, do you guys even want him if Beasley plays exceptionally well as a rookie. You'll be paying Julio franchise tag money (13mil?), may have to re-sign a lot of players (Clayborn, Biermann, Worrilow, Konz, Smith, etc) if they play well or for depth, and still upgrade other positions. With ~35mil-40mil in cap space, Julio Jones and Antone Smith alone (if he plays that change of pace role well) will eat up 15mil of that.Lets not discredit the potential of Clayborn. What if he comes off with a 7-8 sack season? Will you guys let him walk? or pay him the 6-8mil he'd deserve. With the need to upgrade the OL, re-signing or upgrading LBs, and safety.Do you guys pay Irving? Or go for a splash such as:Justin HoustonEric WeddleHaloti NgataMarshal YandaEric BerryMarcell DareusAldon SmithOr maybe just solidify yourself with the likes of:Ryan KerriganMuhammad WilkersonDerrick JohnsonTamba HaliNick FairleyDeAndre Levy
Shredman
Lets see how we do this yr....Barring Major Injury and guys like Reed, Durant ,Beasley and Clayborn pan outlets face it...Falcons are more than likely South Champions this yrthen you just do all you can to resign your own and look at depth in Free Agency ...lets see how things play out this yr
DD: Objective Elite
Market value, he might give a slight discount, but I doubt it. This is also contingent on Quinn wanting Irvin in Atlanta.

nola90
it was an honest question actually, seems like there are more pressing needs that 6-7mil/yr can buy. like an OL for matty ice.

SuperAINTSfan
After chasing N. O. AND Carolina this season, it looks like there may be more pressing needs to spend cap space on. The dline and Oline still have some serious looking holes. This is Jackson and Soliai last season so they'll have some players to replace also.
