Ok. They may get their shot. We will see. The Hawks aren't exactly the Bad Boy Pistons.

they aren't. Just speaks to how soft the Rockets are. If Houston pounds the paint against GS they will get beat in 6 or possibly 7 games. If they turn into a jump shooting team they get torched in 5.

I'm sure they would. The 2015 Atlanta Hawks are the greatest team ever. Led by the best coach the NBA has ever seen. No one stands a chance against the Hawks. NBA you have been warned.

Why the **** are you having this conversation?

Like honestly. You act like a 12 year old brat. Have an honest conversation or talk with yourself.

He was an assistant coach. Not the coach. The Hawks don't have near the talent to be top 3 in the west. maybe a top 6 team.

Hawks homers are funny.

Kerr sat next to Mike van gundy....

By your standards it must be easy as **** to coach in the West.

I love how this guy completely ignored the conversation we had and went straight for the whole "western conference is Gawd argument".

Didn't see that coming..... Oh wait.

Weren't you just saying we have 4 all Stars and plenty of talent?

You should probably take a few minutes to collect yourself. You seem frazzled.

For the bolded part, they are the greatest team in franchise history.

Look man, you can throw heaps of praise on the Western Conference all you want to. In the past 10 seasons (from 2014 to 2004), the East has featured a sub .500 team in the playoffs 7 times.

NBA Finals record during that time span:

West: 6

East: 4

If the Hawks or Cavs win this years' Finals, guess what, it's dead even at 5 a piece for the past 10 seasons dating from 2015 to 2005, and that's despite having a sub .500 team in the Eastern Conference playoffs 8 out of the last 10 seasons.

So much for the West's dominance.

At some point, you have to stop and think that maybe a team is just good because of what their own record shows, not the record of its conference.

Of all the teams that have won 50+ games in the West this year, how many of them have won a championship in the last 10 years? That number is pretty small isn't it?

laugh.png Perhaps you should look at our record against the Western Conference this season. We blew top seeded West teams OUT. Even on the road bro. Consistently.

This whole notion about Atlanta only winning 60 games because the east is terrible is nonsense. If it was so easy, why haven't we seen more teams in the east win 60+ games? The east has been bad for along time. This isn't some new revelation.

Word to Stephen A., there's a first time for everything. Don't underestimate the hunger and drive of a team (or city for that matter) that has NEVER been to the Finals. I respect his opinions though. I don't mind that he trusts Lebron over the Hawks, because most people would.

He Flip flops so hard. The 2 years Miami won the championship he claimed they had no chance against whoever they played. Now all of a sudden he trusts LeBron to get it done. I'm sure I can point out a million other references

You can't be serious...Don't insult George Carlin.

I don't think it's that much of an insult. Carlin is one of the best to ever do it but Chris Rock had a nice run. When he was on he was on but that lasted for about 3 major stand up specials.

Carlin, Murphy, Pryor, Louis CK...those guys at the top of their game....Awesomesauce!

If you guys think Chris Rock is on the same level as Carlin, Pryor, Murphy, or even Robin Williams.....then you guys are easily amused. You probably have every Tyler Perry "Madea" movie on blu ray.

I think I just said he's not on their level but lets not get carried away up in here.

FTR: He said we only beat the Wizards because of John Wall being hurt and Gortat being sick in game 6.

Predictable.

Sui generic is Latin for always generic.

Trust me I stayed at a holiday Inn express last night
