Vicodingate Vitt got a few games suspended for something by all accounts is a felony by law. Payton was also involved to make it worse.

BountyGate was against NFL rules. with several players and coaches getting suspended. But the hardest hit was the head coach and the DC

VS.

Deflate gate that is against NFL rules.

People question why Bellicheat still has a job after having multi scandals. But Payton and Vitt does as well and for Payton and Vitt its during the same time frame.

the events of bounty gate not only were not against the rules, the NFL had given written permission to run such programs

Awesome article...

You know what else is awesome... In 1996 weed was COMPLETELY illegal. Now it's legal in a few places and steaming towards being legal everywhere...

Why is this relevant you ask? Because that Article is comparing 1996 to 2009/10 as to why something should be right/wrong.

this has nothing to do what is legal and everything to do with the internal P&P of a corporation which is something you obviously know nothing about.

when a company puts a policy or procedure in place, either in writing or through a track record of actions, it stays in place until specifically repealed or replaced. it is very much like a college handbook

thus far, I have found no evidence of that policy being repealed by the NFL at any point which meant that it was still in effect

corporations that have been around for decades still operate by their original policies and procedures unless they have been changed by the company or by some law (such as discrimination by sexual orientation)

which is why Florio, who is also an attorney, is making that point

NO NO NO NO NO!! You are infusing this discussion with too much knowledge and too many facts. What you will get in response is the internet equivalent of someone sticking one's fingers in one's ear and yelling "BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH", followed by some insult.

Somehow this seems relevant:

Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you

Dago when the story first came out they said the saints were asked to stop but failed to cooperate.

the NFL also claimed to have 15,000 pages of documentation and indisputable evidence against the 4 players suspended

later those suspensions were revoked by Paul Tagliabue, the former NFL commissioner, for lack of evidence and the 15,000 pages never materialized

lol okay man we've gone on this merry go round a million times.

this debate is more boring than arguing mayo vs. miracle whip

I have no facts...just rhetoric and Roger Goodell talking points

yes, I know

through the whole thing, I provided facts and legal opinions which was something sorely lacking from posters like you

it takes a special kind of person to hold on to an opinion despite overwhelming proof and facts

I love you Dago but your team loyalty makes you look like a doofus

actually it's a loyalty to objectivity and facts

I invite anybody to post facts that show otherwise

your facts are interpretations. you haven't shown the least bit of objectivity through the entire case. the facts were all laid out, what. ..2 years ago? you chose to ignore them then but now want to latch on to anything to that counters the evidence that originally came out

Dago just might me the most objective poster on this entire board.

And you are a big time homer.

are you high? I was posting the facts as they came out along with several legal experts and a federal judge. obviously you weren't around at that time

what I am saying isn't 'interpretations'...it is facts. everything I have stated in this thread is a fact.

the couple of people in this thread who disagree with me have yet to post a single fact
