brown bomber
Looking at some stats and this stood out: Julio Jones led the NFL with 31 catches of 20+ yards. He doesnt get enough praise.
FenixFalcon
Looking at some stats and this stood out: Julio Jones led the NFL with 31 catches of 20+ yards. He doesnt get enough praise. He really doesn't...if he can stay healthy for a full season, Julio could easily take the top spot as no.1 receiver in the league. capologist
I've done this before but I'll do this again:Calvin Johnson (1st 4 years): 60 games, 270 catches, 4,191 yards, 33 TDsJulio Jones (1st 4 years): 49 games, 278 catches, 4,330 yards, 26 TDsIf Julio hadn't been hurt in 2013 he'd be blowing Calvin Johnson out of the water statistically. As it is, he is still ahead of him in every category except TDs. I'd have absolutely no problem giving him a Megatron contract. None at all... Tandy
The next best was Bay Bay Thomas with
vafalconfan
Last year on MNF he took over that green bay game by himself in the second half that we lost. Had we even had a mediocre defense we could have won that game..only special players can put the team on their backs that way.

capologist
I don't think even Megatron deserves a Megatron contract.Deserve is a very subjective term. Does Matt Ryan deserve Matt Ryan money? Does anyone really deserve $20 million a year for anything?

JayOzOne
I don't think even Megatron deserves a Megatron contract. He deserves it because the market supported it (the Lions paid it because they weren't the only ones who wanted him). I wonder if people who worry about what others are paid think they are paid too much as well in their jobs?
AndySG
Julio plays so hard, remember that GB game? No wonder he got hurt.Oh. I'm not doubting that. He was dead on his feet but just kept getting back up. I'm a huge fan.
Dem Birds
Deserve is a very subjective term. Does Matt Ryan deserve Matt Ryan money? Does anyone really deserve $20 million a year for anything? Tuggle'2
Deserve is a very subjective term. Does Matt Ryan deserve Matt Ryan money? Does anyone really deserve $20 million a year for anything? Not yourself or Falcunuck, but folks need to understand market value. Every argument I have ever seen complaining about Ryan's contract and not Julio's don't seem to understand economics 101. capologist
You know what I meant. No WR should get that big of a contract.I do now...WR is an interesting position to watch. Because of Megatron's deal, there's a lot of receivers looking to get paid but teams aren't sure of the market. So the class of Dez Bryant, Julio, AJ, etc are going to be the ones to set that market. It'll be interesting to see how that shapes up...
HEIST
Can't wait to see him this year. No reason Roddy should be getting so many redzone targets over him. Terrence Williams had more redzone targets than Julio lmao. Riley Cooper!!
