Truth B Told (TRU)
Not sure if it was mentioned already.http://nfltraderumors.co/free-agent-ot-tyler-polumbus-tries-out-for-falcons/Field Yates of ESPN reports that the Falcons brought in veteran OT Tyler Polumbus for a tryout on Tuesday. The Falcons appear to be in the market for help at right tackle, so well have to see if anything comes of this meeting. Atlanta recently worked out free agent OT Joe Barksdale.Polumbus, 30, originally signed on with the Broncos as an undrafted free agent out of back in 2008. He has since played for the Lions, Seahawks and Redskins.Unfortunately for Polumbus, he hasnt found any reported interest since free agency got underway over two months ago.In 2014, Polumbus appeared in 11 games for the Redskins and was rated by Pro Football Focus as the No. 62 offensive tackle out of 84 qualifying players. Rwhite84
I get leave no stone unturned, but I don't get why Polumbus over someone like Jake Long, or if Long wants too much money Ryan Harris. Polumbus has proven time and time again he can't succeed in the NFL.

Vandy
It seems we are trying to upgrade at OL and safety. I think we are not sold on any OT outside of Matthews or any S outside of Moore to start this year. Don't blame 'em.

Sort of bugs me that we're not showing faith in Schraeder, I wish we would just leave OT as is, target another guard(De La Puente?), and be satisfied. Rwhite84
Schraeder shined at the end of the season vs some weak match-ups then got abused vs Carolina. I wouldn't say it was against weak matchups, for example he had good games vs Green Bay, New Orleans, and Pittsburgh. Faced Worlids in the Pittsburgh game, Cameron Jordan in the New Orleans game, Julius Peppers in the Green Bay game,

Rwhite84
I think they finally had enough film on him to exploit his weaknessesHe had one bad game against one of the best defensive ends in football(Charles Johnson), I don't think there's any need to overthink it. Gold4425
Same M.O. for TD, why does he continue to go after cheap fixes for the OL to protect his most costly investment. We all remember MR getting creamed and TD kept bringing in the Trublood types. STOP IT!!! In a 16 game season players will get hurt, go get some real OL's to keep this offense potent please, please. I don't buy we can put anyone on the OL and make due. One of TD's biggest faults is fixing weaknesses after the Draft. He bargain basement shops. in IMHO we have a lot of if's on the OL due to injuries, it is 50/50 if all will be ready TD has to go get some insurance and not just all these no-name guys that have been bounced around the league and been cut
