The gap between Brees and Ryan isn't that wide.

you can't logically brag about having the top WR corps in the NFCS while the Saints rank last and then say the QBs are close while Brees puts up better numbers. doesn't work

I don't think the gap is 'it's not even close' wide. If our offensive line doesn't look like a M*A*S*H unit again, I wouldn't be surprised one bit if Ryan puts up better stats than Brees.

Edit: Where did I brag about our receiving corps??

The gap is wider than it's EVER been this year.

According to Saints fans Colston is better than White. Last few years you had one of the best TEs in the league. With about 4 viable options that even Ryan could have led to 1000 yards... (see Harry Douglas)

So yes, we can logically brag about whatever the F we want.
