Of The 22 Try Outs

Recommended Posts

I'm pulling for these three to get signed.

QB-Austin Dodge- Good quick release, strong arm, nice placement on the deep ball. Good candidate for #3 developmental QB on PS.

CB-Marcus McMorris- Good size/speed, beats blocks and wraps up, looks to have good ball skills. Small school but PS potential.

CB-Jonathon Mincy-Marijuana but hits hard. Another good PS candidate.

I think Kevin White has a shot. I think he is stronger as a UDFA than some of our previous late round picks. We are deep at the position but he locked down the WR Kevin White who was considered by a lot to be the top WR in the draft, neck and neck with Cooper. Could be interesting.

I completely forgot about White....What a steal....With the log jam at CB...I wonder if he can play safety..wouldn't want someone signing him off our practice squad...

Don't know much about Largent or Kinville but I'm on board wit the others..especially Dodge and Mincy

Derek Largent

Mike Kinville

I think he's converting from TE to FB. Has played LB.

In all fairness, all the UDFA's are "tryout" players. I see your point though! :)

Besides Dodge and Mincy, who you got?

looking at our team depth right now on the 90

We have 12 WR's 5 TE's and 7 backs. That is a lot of throws to go around for just 3 QB's, so even if its not Dodge, I'd be surprised if we dont sign a 4th QB for camp.

2 FB's are trying out and with only 2 on the roster one might get a job.

We're only carrying 5 RB's right now and 2 are trying out. Not sure how many backs we plan to carry on the 53 but if its 4, can probably get some extra competition in there.

I know Bosher and Matt Bryant are pretty much guaranteed a roster spot, but we brought in no one to be an extra leg in camp. Castillo might have a shot for some paychecks.

Everyone else will just have to be better than the guys we already signed to make it.

Thanks for the info...both have good size and speed for their positions...Largent is intriguing and I love a fullback that has played some linebacker...

its hard to tell, cant even find anything on half these guys highlight wise.

the Largent kid had some nice numbers at his pro day.

With scouts from at least 15 NFL teams watching, Largent hit 27 reps in the 225-pound bench press, managed a 36’5 vertical jump, a 10-foot-5-inch broad jump and an unofficial 4.56 40-yard dash.

Those results would have put the 6-foot-3, 235-pound linebacker in the top 10 of all four categories at the NFL Combine.

Its going to get very interesting I can say for sure. Maybe we don't play our starters all game like its a real game now...
