insight
Hmm still wondering why we picked Jalen Collins over Randy Gregory when ignoring pass rushers was all Mike Smiths idea. Gregory a top 5 talent sitting in the 2nd would had addressed the issue without question. Edited May 8, 2015 by insight

WiscoFalcon
Yeah, sucks that he can't be out there, but he has the physical tools, this will give him time to work on his mental game, and learn the things Quinn has in store for him. Nothing to worry about yet.

I've said it before and will continue to say it - Randy Gregory was drafted (and Greg Hardy was signed) to a team where the GM cannot be fired if he (they) is a trainwreck. hjerry
Hmm still wondering why we picked Jalen Collins over Randy Gregory when ignoring pass rushers was all Mike Smiths idea. Gregory a top 5 talent sitting in the 2nd would had addressed the issue without question. In one of their predraft press conferences, Quinn and TD were asked about players with character concerns and whether or not they would take them. They responded that it depended on whether they believed that player would negatively effect other players in the locker room, and that it would require the confidence in the coaches that the could build a strong support group around them, to prevent them from screwing up again. Many on here, assumed that they were referring to Randy Gregory. It is now however clear that they were referring to Collins, and maybe Ray (FOs probably knew about this stuff before he was caught by media). Whether many on here like it or not, they simply didn't feel comfortable with him in their locker room. I'm going to respect their decision as they know far more about their locker room and about Gregory's issues, which has already been said to be way more than was ever reported, than we ever will. Schofield and Reid are pass rushers? You should have added Beirmann for good measure. By the way which one of them are better than Gregory? Gregory a top 5 talent sitting in the 2nd would had addressed the issue without question. Tell 'em about it! So what if Josh Gordon, Justin Blackmon, and Dion Jordan got suspended for entire seasons thanks to succumbing to substance abuse issues? Gregory's failing to stay clean and his missing multiple meetings with interested teams should be discounted because he's a top 5 talent and will suddenly flip a switch and become both a defensive standout and a leader in the locker room. These fools just don't want to give somebody a fifth chance.
