NOVAFalconFan
Don't care about FO one way or another, really, but interesting to see where Matt ranks.http://www.footballoutsiders.com/stat-analysis/2015/2014-incomplete-pass-breakdown-passers
rounz
Thanks.I honestly thought Matt would be higher in the throwaways category considering how much he has been pressured.Says a lot.
Francis York Morgan
Lol at Ryan being one of the lowest bad pass percentages and one of the highest hit-while-throwing percentages too. That's pretty impressive. Maybe the line needs more work than I thought. Having an actual running game should help.

We should be good if those two things happen.

We should be good if those two things happen.I doubt it'll do much for our pass blocking, but Shanny's offense is a lot of faster throws. Not so many 5 step drops and shotguns as we saw last year. That should help. Guess we'll see.
DirtyBird8711
Good Post...Just more proof that Ryan is not the problem....just give him a line and a run game to take pressure off him....
UnrealfalcoN
Aaron Rodgers with the most under thrown passes by far. Noodle arm who?
Tribal Chief
No way there were only 21 drops on the season. They had 15 in the Detroit game alone/purp
Sobeit
Ryan is one tough lip biting QB. He has needed a serious overhaul to that line for a while now.

gazoo
I continue to be impressed at just how good Matt Ryan really is. The Falcoholic broke down a ton of stats showing just how good Ryan is, and looking at these numbers yet again the little things in his game, he's really a phenomenal QB. I can't wait to see him with a running game, pass protection and a real defense.
Hingle McCringleberry
Looks like ole' noodle arm overthrows his receivers. Kind of negates an argument that he has a weak arm.
FalconFromSpain
No way there were only 21 drops on the season. They had 15 in the Detroit game aloneAnd Toilolo had like 5 in the Chicago game alone, where he dropped almost any pass that was in his direction. Give him a running game, a little protection & a Def that can keep a lead in the 2nd half. We've been missing all of those things for the past couple of seasons at least. Rwhite84
Ryan doesn't make a lot of mistakes, he just makes really bad ones. I wish he could fix that, but it's been a consistent trend for years and I'm not expecting change.

Dirtybird56
We still have to see what we need on the OL going forward.. Best case scenario someone steps up at LG and we are set.. Worst case LG is a big hole and Schraeder can't hold down RT Matt Ryan's going to look good this year but he still doesn't have the one thing he's truly needed.. An Oline. Well, maybe it all falls into place and we have a legit line this year

Dirtybird56
Schraeder only allowed 16 pressures(3 sacks 2 hits), and had a +8.2 PFF pass block grade, how can't he hold down RT?I'm one of Schraeder's biggest proponents.. Watched this kid grow over the past 2 seasons. His leap from year 1 to year 2 was impressive and leads me to believe he will up his game again as he enters that 3rd year. His pass protection the second half of 2014 was fantastic sans the Panthers game. Athletic dude who should mesh extremely well with the ZBS. But worst case scenario.. Idk I really could have included all the linemen lol
raysnill1
Matt's passed defended stat was a big concern and goes to show that there was some accuracy to claims defenses knew what plays we were running
TheFatboi
Our OL is the only thing keeping Ryan from being Tom BradyActually I'd say it was Kietters system. Too many slow developing plays. Shanny's sytem is more balanced and uptempo. Shorter passes. The line will look much better without many long developing plays.
