KRUNKuno
With the lack of talent evaluation that Mike Smith and his coaching staff displayed over the years, I have no reason not to believe that Reedy caught a raw deal last year. They wanted to keep guys like Amsterdam, Freddie Martino and Drew Davis when the real star was Reedy. This camp will be the most competitive at wide receiver. Reedy is still a longshot, but it will be good to see him get a legitimate chance at a roster spot, because if Mike Smith and company really knew how to identify talent they would've kept Reedy last year. UnrealfalcoN
Honestly don't see him making the roster with Julio, Roddy, hardy and hanky. Unless he absolutely destroys people on special teams to unseat weems. Which is not very likely.
JayOzOne
Sorry. We made our one-Smurf limit with Hardy.
Sheldon Cooper
I like Reedy, especially for PS. Weems is a great STer but our big DB's should make him obscelete. Kyle has carried 6 or 7 WR's before, but I think 5 is what to expect. I think Quinn will need DL only allowing for 5 WR's. Reedy and Wynn on the PS is a good thing. Dont need any injuries to the top 5.1-Jones2-White3-Hardy4-Hankerson5-HesterWynn and Reedy are the only two that I see with a chance and that is pressuring Hester for #5. Wynn looks better than Reedy to me though.
Tribal Chief
The reedy hype died after the first pre season game. The staff really liked Amsterdam and probably would have made the team had he not gotten injured. Maybe reedy gets a real shot this year, who knows. Maybe he can make Weems expendable. Yeah I know, "Weems is important blah blah", he was also cut last year so let's not pretend that he's not replaceable

Guess what? Both Robiskie and Martino is still here plus Hardy, Williams, and Henderson was added. On top of that, a better version of Reedy (Wynn) was just signed as an UDFA. Its going to be very hard for Reedy to make it.

falconidae
Thing is, the people praising Reedy were not just posters here, but national columnists as well. Think that everybody that came to report on the Falcons TC commented positively on Reedy.Be hard for him to crack the roster- his best bet is probably make the practice squad and then get called up during the year.Love the idea, though, of having Jones, Reedy and Coleman on the field at the same time and having 3 players that can take it to the house on any given play. If he couldn't crack the 53 then what makes you think he can now when hes pushed even further down the depth chart? Not saying its impossible, I just dont see it. jwickha2
From what I saw of Reedy last year was that he was good in drills and scrimmage during practices but it never showed up during the preseason games. He had 4 catches for 63 yards on 6 targets. That is in all 4 games. So nothing really to write home about. I like him enough to keep him around and at least stick around for the practice squad but I'm not going to expect great things until I see it

Smitty and the Koetter didn't even let him see the field. After seeing the plays he made on hardknocks they could've at least given him a few more opportunities. That's just not a situation that plays in the CB's favour. They can only give so many opportunities to players, maybe they didn't think he was worth it like everyone on here did. End zone Jones
No way I see him making the roster, unless injuries. JJ, Roddy, Hester, Hardy, Hankerson, Weems.... He would have to put up stupid numbers in preseason, to even get a chance!!

If we even take six on the active roster. We have a very deep WR unit now through Draft and FA.

k-train
If you are going to be one of the 5 or 6 WRs we carry on the 53, and you're not a starter, you have to be able to play ST. Reedy cannot, because he is too small. Wynn is even smaller by 10lbs & a few inches, so he's not going to make the 53 either.A guy who is 5'6"-5'9" & only weighs 165-175lbs would get destroyed trying to block & tackle regular sized NFL players who are going full speed on returns. This is why Reedy never got playing time last year in preseason. There's no chance he was going to unseat Hester for return duties & he'd be broken in a week if they tried him as a gunner. The other thing to consider with these smaller framed guys is that they've also got smaller hands. Once they're going up against pros who are stronger & faster than what they faced in college this becomes a real issue. Dudes in the NFL know how to create turnovers, and use their strength to pry the ball free. A player with small hands is going to have a real hard time avoiding turnovers when they get to the NFL. This is exactly why Trinden Holliday got cut so many times. Sure he's super fast, but he also fumbles the ball constantly.
Romfal
Sadly I dont think he brings anything over Hester+Hardy to make the 53. he needs a really solid camp, solid run blocking and play core special teams to replace Weems, who already does all those things well.
