Just kinda reminds me of James Rodgers

But faster by a light year. Dude ran a 4.34 and can turn on a dime. He can take head on contact too. Plenty of tape out there of him breaking initial contact and moving forward. The only other offensive weapon on Indiana other than Coleman. I'm pretty sure Coleman will be happy to see him in camp.

Wynn did run a 4.29

However, how many receivers do we keep, 5 or 6 at most?

Julio

Roddy

Hardy

Hester

Hankerson

Weems

And even as a return man, we have the greatest of all-time, Hester, and a pro-bowler in Weems.

Would have to beat out the likes of Reedy and Martino just to make the practice squad.

What does that even mean?

theres no guarantees that Hankerson or weems make this team.

Weems is a great ST tho so idk.

That is true... BUT considering Hankerson's attributes, I think it's very likely he's on the 53.

Hardy and Hester are slot receivers and since Roddy is slowing down, we need another outside WR who can stretch the field besides Julio.

Hankerson is 6'2", runs a 4.4 40, has already been a NFL starter, ANNND already knows Shanny's system, so, everything is leaning in his favor.

Weems is on the bubble but man, it's hard to find special team players like him.

Weems isn't on the bubble man he has reliable hands and I reckon fits nicely as my #5 WRer.

ST's gunner Weems is one of the best in the league no way is this guy on the bubble.

1. Julio (lock)

2. Roddy (lock)

3. Hardy (lock)

4. Hester (lock)

5. Hankerson

6. Weems?

-Shanny loves using TEs, so we will carry at least 3, so in all likelihood, we will only have 5 receivers on the 53.

-As important as special teams are, the offense still takes priority, so...

Weems: 5'9" 4.53 40 time, career special teams player

Hankerson: 6'2" 4.43 40 time, NFL starter before injury, already knows the offense

I'll be beyond shocked if the guy can make the roster. He might replace Martino or Reedy on the PS, but that's likely about the ceiling for a guy that small, no matter how fast he is or how tough he seems.

For perspective... the lightest WR on the 53 man roster is Hester at 190.

That's 23 more lbs than Wynn, which is a MASSIVE difference.

Hardy outweighs him by 25 lbs

Both Roddy & Hankerson outweigh him by 44 lbs

Weems has 28 lbs on him

Julio has 53 lbs on him

HeII, even Reedy has 8 lbs on Wynn.

It's not about Wynn being tough. The dude would get absolutely murdered in the NFL. His opponents are just too big & too fast for him to have the kind of impact he could in college. This is a huge part of why Reedy, despite all his speed, never saw real action. The coaches knew he'd be broken after one game.

Wynn does have one thing going for him though...

He's already a lock for the Annual Cole Magner Preseason Message Board Fan Favorite Award presented by Bear Woods.

Philip Dorsett may get mugged too and he went in round 1... Edited by HASHBROWN3

can only have a x and y WR on the outside.. just like you said hester and hardy are our slot..

I think its a battle for the slotwith hester hardy and hank.

Plus hank is coming off a knee injury.

Either way its going to be a deep competition at WR..

What I meant to convey was.. if Julio or Roddy were injured, Hankerson gives us another outside WR with height and speed that can stretch the field. (assuming he's healthy)

That's not to say Hardy can't play outside but he doesn't have the height or top speed of Hankerson. Hardy gets great separation, has excellent hands, and I wouldn't be surprised if he steps in as the slot receiver from day one.

Of course, maybe we keep 6 receivers.
