hjerry
So apparently, lost in all the draft coverage, was the fact that Denver waived Quanterus Smith. I do remember a number, myself included, desiring him greatly in 2013. Would there be any chance that we go after him? He was a GA native and lifetime Falcons fan, if memory serves. I would all depend on his health of course, but I'd love to bring him in. He was waived on April 28, and is still listed as a FA, so he must have passed unclaimed. Broncos waived DE Quanterus Smith with a failed physical designation.Smith served as DeMarcus Ware's backup last season, recording 11 tackles and zero sacks. He ended the year on injured reserve due to a knee injury and was likely to lose his roster spot to Shaq Barrett this year. Guest Mr Plow
Wait .. you want us to sign yet another injury prone player? Are we the red and black or the red cross team?

RYNE
I just don't see the point in bringing him in
Francis York Morgan
No harm in bringing him in for a tryout and physical. I personally liked him, but I'm guessing his injury really messed him up. He was very talented. Could also just be an issue of them having so many phenomenal players at that position already, especially after drafting Ray. Romfal
end of the day he is a former 5th round pick who hasnt accomplished anything in the league and right now cant pass a physical. Theres not much hype train I can get on here, but if Quinn wants to bring him in for a tryout, why not.

Theres not much hype train I can get on here, but if Quinn wants to bring him in for a tryout, why not. Didn't see till now that the reason he was waived was for a failed physical. Man, that sucks. All that wasted potential. I wish him the best though.
dcfalcons
I really like him coming out and was hoping we'd draft him in the middle rounds.
