DoYouSeeWhatHappensLarry
Right now, Freeman >>>>>> Coleman.Better fit, actual NFL experience, skills that translate very well to a ZBS.Freeman ain't going anywhere. And we're lucky to have him.

Flying Falcon
You might want to request a trade like Zac Stacey. Every Media know-it-all says you are now the BACKUP.Wait, what? He was just "THE FUTURE" last year after you all clamored for Quizz to be traded. And the year before that, Quizz was "THE FUTURE" after you all clamored for Turner to be traded. SMH.... Monolith2001
Yep, you can tell the draft just ended and people like the shiny new toys. I like Coleman and I'm very excited to see if he can do in Atlanta what he did in college but Freeman is a player and I think he could also break out. These two will make each other better and let's not forget what Antone can do (even as an elder). No sacred cows please...earn it on the field. rightsaidfred
RidiculousIn Shanahans scheme, you need fast RB's - and more than one . There is not really a "feature back" as such. Cut block, hole opens quickly but is only there for a few seconds. You need backs that hit the hole quickly and are fast. And you keep rotating them keeping them fresh.Arian Foster was either late round or UDFA, I forget. But look how he flourished in KS's system. We didn't need to spend our pick on Gurley. Freeman, Coleman and Smith should all be very productive.
Knight of God
I personally don't care for Freeman playing RB here at all. Would not mind it one bit.
AtlantaFanatic
And exactly what would the trade value be for a second year 5th round RB with no measurable stats right now right after a draft deep with RB talent?

JDaveG
Freeman has nothing to worry about. He's a good piece and a solid 3rd down change of pace back. Smith is really the one who ought to be worried. If he can't figure out his pass blocking he'll never last in a WCO system. He barely made it under Koetter. And this is coming from a huge Smith fan.
