SaintsBountyBowlChamps
We have a major problem here. He does not fit Quinn's system. And we know what happens when a coach wants "their guy". No matter how good they are they eventually get shipped off. It happens every year in the NFL. With Revis and Foles being to recent notable examples. The question is, are Trufant's days numbered? If history is any indication the answer is a resounding yes....

Until Collins/Southward and Alford their footing I'm not worried about it.

How does he not fit perfectly?LMAO, you are trying too hard bro... Edited May 3, 2015 by gHost83

Romfal
umn, no. Trufant is pretty long, he isnt 6'3 but he can definitely play pressTrufant combine: 6'0, 31 1/4 inch arms, 8" 5/8 handsCollins combine: 6'1, 32 1/8 inch arms, 9" 3/8 handsvery minimal differenceI dont think the same goes for Alford tho, reason why we drafted corner in the 2nd round. Lornoth
I remember this topic being brought up almost word for word back when we hired Quinn. I'll repeat what I said then. Tru fits Quinn's scheme perfectly.

Lornoth
Um no. Quinn wants his corners to be physical, press corners like they had in Seattle. Trufant is better suited for offman.Tru's strength has always been press, always.

A Dog Named Brian
QUINN: You just celebrate the guys’ uniqueness as you go along. When there is a guy that has certain styles and features, how do you find ways to accent that? That was one of the messages I learned from Pete. How do we find all these unique guys and put them in the spot to allow them to do what they do best. As opposed to saying, ‘Well, he doesn’t fit the system.’ We kind of look at it the other way. What are some of his strengths? What can he do, as opposed to what he can’t do.http://mmqb.si.com/2015/02/20/atlanta-falcons-dan-quinn-interview/\Thread Edited May 3, 2015 by A Dog Named Brian
WOR
I think we need to worry about Matt ryanHis nostrils are far too clean to fit the "Johny Manziel" position in shannys offense.
FentayeJones
Revis shut down guys in Tampa bay but that didn't stop Lovie from shipping him off the moment he implemented his system.Thats because Revis wants to get paid franchise quaterback money. Revis always goes to the hghest bidder... thats why hes not a Patriot anymore.
