mashburn*Fibonacci
What a lame fight. Nothing but chicken chicken then head lock when may got scared. I wanted a fight for blood. And may wouldn't let it happen because he knew he would lose.
SuperAINTSfan
Mayweather beat Pacman pretty easily.Manny fought the exact fight he couldn't fight.

Floyd fought a brilliant fight especially off the ropes.

meezy0236
Pacquiao demolished him in the corners several times. The 4th round he caught Floyd with one flush shot then threw a bunch of punches that was catching nothing but arms and gloves. Then the 6th could have went either way, but Pac was the busiest puncher in the round, but he also got caught a couple times in the round. Besides those two rounds Floyd dominated that fight and it wasn't close
mashburn*Fibonacci
I never saw Floyd dominant. I saw him counter and run and put pacquiao in numerous head locks. Yes may won. But it was a defense win and not something I consider a win (when in a title fight and wanting to show the world you are the best fighter in history). Show me you can win, put a hard hit on someone. Not just a lot of counter soft punches. In the long run, pacquiao would have won. No doubt.

Why fight to Pac's strengths? Proving he could stand toe to toe with a puncher wouldn't prove Floyd is the best, it would've showed he wasn't smart. Being the best boxer means not only physically beating your opponent but out thinking him too, and that's what he did to Pac.....brilliantly too

DonDaLuvMaker
Floyd won the fight but an argument could be made that the fight was closer than what is being said in the media right now.Floyd's length was very noticeable and gave Manny problems as the fight went on.I enjoyed the fight because I knew that it wasn't going to be a slugfest between the two. Smart counter punching has become Floyd's game for about the last 8-10 years now.

And mayweather just showed that long arm and how to go defense. I'll never put mayweather and great fighter in the same sentence. Just because of tonight. Just because of tonight.I think Floyd is a great fighter, but he isn't the best of all time though.Manny is too small and isn't the hard hitting knockout artist that he once was.It is going to take a fighter that is stronger with a lengthy reach. They also have to fight smart and not attack Floyd aggressively, Floyd tends to exploit over aggressive fighters all day long.Floyd has to be methodically picked apart. DonDaLuvMaker
I would say it was probably close up until the 6th, from the 7th round on Floyd controlled the fight clearly I agree, I think there are maybe 2 of the early rounds that Floyd was given could have been argued, but Floyd turned up his game and became more aggressive to win the fight. He made Manny pay with counter punches.Think Floyd should of won by split decision, not unanimously because I think Manny won a good bit of the early rounds and one of the later rounds. DonDaLuvMaker
I miss the "heavyweight days"...Someone needs to beat Wladamir Klitschko. He has been a very bland champion for years. The heavyweight division is pretty much dead when it comes to American relevancy. Him beaten by an American would restore some of the attention back to the division and hopefully start a resurgence within that division.

And may wouldn't let it happen because he knew he would lose. You obviously have never seen a Floyd fight. He's a BOXER, not a fighter. He comes in to box. He's 48-0. He is what he is. You have to hit him in order to beat him. Easier said than done.

BayouBengalz
Clearly Munky doesn't know boxing, it's an art. If u wanted a slugfest u shouldn't of watched the fight. Blame manny for not being able to hit him, Floyd makes all his fights boring cause he doesn't get hit, plus hes not exactly looking for the knockout himself. theDIRTYcode
To me this is the reason MMA has overtaken boxing. The last time I paid attention to boxing Iron Mike was still kicking arse. I fully admit I don't have an appreciation for style boxing....when I showed up to a fight, it was to kick the other dudes azz. Didn't care how pretty I looked doing it. But that's just me.
