Bawse
The Vic Beasley + Grady Jarrett duo still baffles me. Great great draft.
Knight of God
If someone posted that as a mock they'd of been called an unrealistic homer. lolYep. All the way to the end. I think people should really research players before they start typing. One thing I hate is relying on "experts" for info or argument. Its lazy and irregular. Then and even then, you have to look up how things are worked on in this type case.
Knight of God
The Vic Beasley + Grady Jarrett duo still baffles me. Great great draft.I flipped today when they called his name. I was talking to my wife and dropped a few names, then I said, "No no...give me Jarrett...give me Grady Jarrett. Honey that's Jessie Tuggle's son. The reason I became a Falcons fan and a football player...if we get him..." Before I could say anything...boom...man, I flipped out and was just going crazy. Telling my wife this has never happened with me as a fan. NEVER had a draft I liked and then get 2 out of my 3 favorite players in the whole draft??? Never even had one. jazzyburrell
If someone posted that as a mock they'd of been called an unrealistic homer. lolIKR... I woulda been like... Jarrett in the 5th? Coleman's stock was soooo hot before the draft, I thought he would go high in the 2nd!

Never even had one.I was in the chatroom in the 4th round saying I couldn't believe no one had gotten Jarrett. Then when we traded up I said, "This has to be for Grady Jarrett!" BOOM! I flipped out, too. My lady was just laughing at me. Lol.
CTann
I LOVE this draft!I'm going to say that Jake Rodgers will be one of our best 7th round picks that we've ever had.At the worst, he looks like quality depth who can play multiple positions. I've watched a little bit of him against Washington and he's quick, can sustain blocks, and does a good job at picking up stunts. Smart player. He said that he's "a football player who simply loves to play and have fun" and that's what will make him NFL quality.I like his attitude already and I'm especially rooting for him because of the incident with his father; really sad. Romfal
If someone posted that as a mock they'd of been called an unrealistic homer. lolI stopped mocking Beasley in my last 3-4 mocks because I thought he would be gone by 6 after the combine.I didnt look at Collins much at all because he was viewed as a 1st rounder.I barely mocked Coleman except for once in the 2nd because I thought there was no way he made it to the 3rd.I didnt mock Grady Jarrett because I thought he was a 3rd rounder at worst and I was going for OL/RB mostly in those rounds.Suffice to say we did really well this draft, at least projection wise. Truth B Told (TRU)
The Vic Beasley + Grady Jarrett duo still baffles me. Great great draft.Being that I'm a UGA fan it's surprising I wanted 3 of the Clemson players, but being a realist I recognized greatness when UGA traveled up to Clemson two seasons ago and all 3 of them was beastN. Their D was number 1 for a reason last year.

Talen Kylon
Great post. Like everyone else, I'm so excited for the season to start. I have an interesting question though but I can't make a thread, so someone feel free to go ahead and do that if they would like, I think it'd be great for conversation: Lets say we got all of the same picks this draft, but the old coaching crew was still here. Would you still be just as excited?
Mr.11
I was just reading up. Those guys were considered the whole defense. Didn't know that man.I remember the Clemson v GA game. Gurley had trouble running against that D-line, and FSU was very fortunate to get a win against Clemson because Vic and Jarrett were terrorizing FSU's line. Wife was impressed because she's a Gurley fan like crazy. I suppose there will be a lot of Rams games in my house.
ryanadonis
What's sick is that Akeem King is going to play corner. That is amazing. 6 foot 3 corner in King, 6 foot 2 in Collins. 6 foot 2 in Southward and 6 foot in Trufant.

Falkonator
Our whole scecondary is 6'+ excluding Alford who potentially could be a poor man's Earl Thomas at FS.
