Sponge
I think he's sitting out until the 2016 draft regardless
Malachore
What's he keeping an eye on? The guy isn't going to play this season, can someone offer him a 1st round type contract? Not sure how the cap works with that.
ATLFalcons11
I think he's sitting out until the 2016 draft regardless Heard the NFL denied him the option to be placed in the 2016 draft
Falkonator
Since he wasn't drafted at all he can't enter the draft next year, his best bet is to sign with a team as a UDFA.we are a great spot for him due to us needing a guard, if he skips this year his career could end before even starting. Tuggle'2
I was just talking to my pops about how I really wouldn't be surprised if we aren't done yet. I can realistically see us getting another surprise FA and someone like La'el.
rounz
Somebody posted an article earlier that said he wouldn't be eligible for the 2016 draft. That he would be a UDFA and would be subject to the UDFA rookie scale (which I guess is different from the regular rookie scale). He is officially an UDFA or CFA.
atljbo
I think he's sitting out until the 2016 draft regardless Nope... He was just BSing ... He wanted to be able to pick his team and be a Freeagent after 3 years as a UDFA instead of being on a 4 year deal and getting paid 4th-7th round moneyAndrew Brandt @adbrandt 4h4 hours agoLa'el Collins update from agents: no signing today, will meet w/police, investigators Monday, decide among interested teams after that. No he said he didn't want to get drafted. Said he wouldn't sign. Nothing to do with what he did. It came from his corner.
blizzard_falcon
I think EVERYONE is keeping an eye on him.TD said the same exact thing in his presser, that the entire league was monitoring the situation. That said, once/if Collins has his name cleared, coming here would have to be very attractive. He would easily be able to win the LG spot.
ATLFalcons11
Hopefully the other Collins we picked up can convince his former teammate to be a part of something special

It came from his corner.Only after the police wanted to talk to him did he say that. IF he did nothing why not sign, not get drafted? Shane Ray was actually arrested this week and went round 1. There is more to this than any of us know.

hjerry
He will get paid like a 3rd or 4th rounder and love it.You can't pay him like anything other than an UDFA rookie, though I don't know what the rules are on guaranteed money, and whether or not you could fully guarantee his contract or not.
