So After Reading And Watching Everything I Could Find About Funchess. I Feel A Little More Confident About Him Than I Did About Benji, Last Draft.

I believe Funchess becomes our #2 Wr early on in TC. I'm thrilled the Panthers will have another big boy out there. This one extremely athletic at well.

My only hope now is one of our true speed guys, has a solid year. (Philly Brown, Ted Ginn or even Hill, idc who).

Isn't that a team achievement thoe??

You know ultimate team sport.. No player wins a game by himself. . 53 man roster. .

yes its a team sport, and yall got a superbowl caliber team......just like we did in 12? yall got weapons and defense right? this is cams 5th year. as much as yall knock ryan for not winning a superbowl in his 5th year with all the weapons he had.

6'5 235lb who can run a sub 4.5... No that not really pushing anything. .

Yeah. Let's ignore the 40 time at the combine. Only the pro day, where times are always fast.

Top 20 pick is #huddlelogic.

Also, at the combine he was 6'4" and 232. But add an inch and a few pounds to help.

4.7 at the combine. He's a Marques Colston clone. Now don't take me wrong. I like the player. Taking him in the second was good. I just don't see how he could have ever been a 1st rounder.

I'll bite his 40 is probably somewhere In between 4.55-4.6 range same as Kelvin Benjamin and yes he's a hair shorter than 6''5 but he has a 38 inch vert which is 5 inches better than KB we can play high ball with your tiny dbs.

Even with his size, he doesn't high point a ball like Benjamin.

Lol. This guy at no point in his career has shown the ability to go up and abuse corners high on the ball.

Tiny DBs? I'm happy to hear you've been paying attention to our CBs. We've got some of the tallest corners in the league guy. Do some research.

Dude. I would love a more athletic Colston clone as our #2 WR.

Colston has had a respectable career..and if a time machine was around, he probably would have been a 1st round pick if teams knew then what they know now.

Without a doubt. COLSTON is a QBs dream. He can do everything good. If Funchess becomes as good as COLSTON, Carolina hit big-time.

Your tall corners are still giving up 4-5 inches on out wrs!

Not to mention your defense is ****.

Lol.

Keenan Lewis gives up exactly 4 inches to Benjamin and dominated the match up last year. Browner gives up exactly 1 inch to Funchess.

Not to mention, your QB is ****.

By dominated you mean got burned for a TD?

And all the good that did you scoring ten whole points In the dome.

Jesus Christ. I thought you were decent when you first came over. Obviously you're just another Huddle homer who changes the argument every come back because you're steady losing.

Benjamin had 4 catches for 42 yards and 1 TD in 2 games against the Saints last year. Yeah. He really lit Lewis up. Lewis>>>>>Benjamin.

Kind of like all the good it did you getting handled in BOA? You realize we both kicked each other's *** last year? And the only thing that separated the teams was a Mike Nugent miss from 33 yards?

You're such suck up.. talk **** here.. Beg your way back on the huddle when you got banned. .lol

I begged my way back? Or I created a new account?

It could always be worse. I could say I was never going back only to create an account and act like someone else for months, with a back story and everything.

I don't see how we suddenly have "weapons" now. This guy is completely unproven, raw, and a rookie with drop problems. He's like a poor man's KB coming out the draft

I like KB, but he still isn't a true #1 IMO yet... though he definitely has the potential to be. Right now I'd just classify him as a high end #2

We have a great TE, one legit receiver in KB, a bunch of #3 and #4 caliber guys behind him, an often injured running back, and one of the worst offensive lines in the league

Yeah... that's one loaded offense dry.png

Funchess = KB?!

They are both big boys, but that is where the comparisons end. Funchess is a smoother route runner than Benji was coming out of college. While neither is exactly speedy, Funchess seems to have another gear he is able to get into. To me, Funchess looks more finesse, while Benji is more physical.
