Falcons Have The Easiest Strength Of Schedule Per Nfl Network For 2015?

Recommended Posts

I was watching the draft and here in the 7th round they were flashing so called facts about the Falcons up there, and one of the things they flashed in their so called facts was : "The Atlanta Falcons have the easiest strength of schedule of any NFL team in 2015".

Is this true? I don't see how, I see the schedule being against all capable teams.

Are they basing this off of the poor NFC south schedule records from last season?

I'm just curious if anybody else noticed this? And I kinda get the impression the Falcons new powers that be are making the changes they need to and that perhaps some other teams fans in charge of broadcasting this stuff decided to try and steal the thunder from the Falcons great draft choices. Conspiracy theory? LOL, Nah, I ain't paranoid, I've just seen the networks take favor more times than not against the Falcons so I'm used to it.

I'd just like to start a discussion for information to all based on that one comment that was flashed about "The Atlanta Falcons have the Easiest Strength Of Schedule Of Any NFL team in 2015" that popped up there while watching.

Not sure how they base the Strength Of Schedule stuff, but I know it can be an important thing down the stretch.

Thoughts?

Bucs (2x)

Titans

Jags

Vikings

Skins

Iggles (no QB)

9ers'

Giants

The only teams that stand out as contenders are Colts and Cowboys. The rest are likely to be either bad or mediocre. If we go 7-9 or lower with this schedule then this team is pure dog ****.

the schedule is fixed a few years in advance.

It is a specific rotation --frozen bye the rotation cycle itself.

SO any "easy" just comes from the win/loss records that happen to roll up on your next year's cycle

the other 3 NFCS teams 2X ===6 games

all NFCS teams play all 4 teams in a different NFC division ====4 games

all NFCS teams play an AFC division ===4 games

that's basically 14 game same schedule

then each NFCS team will play a corresponding finisher (1,2,3,4) in 1 other NFC and 1 other AFC division ===2 games

sorry just don't reqall witch divisions are rotating up this year

example Bucs (1-15)have a "harder" schedule because they they have to play a team with more wins ie ATL (4-12) (2X)

ATL is "easier" because the play a team with only 1 win (2X)

This explains a lot to me. I should have posted everything in the form of a question. Thank you.

Meh we will still finish sub .500. Don't really expect us to compete until next year at the absolute earliest.

Your name says exactly which team you pull for. I think the sAint's nor their fans carry any weight around here anymore trying to argue team strengths when it comes to relevance in the NFC south, you might say when put on a scale of seriousness "THEY COME UP A GRAHAM SHORT"........ Just saying.........As for the Falcons : "You mad bro?", The breeze in New Orleans is not going to be flowing too well when Facing the Falcons rushing defense anymore that's for dang sure.

GO FALCONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

People can talk schedules from our perspective, but I'm guessing nearly all our opponents see us on the schedule right now and think that's a win.

Most of the members here will spend the next few months blowing sunshine, telling us that we WILL be and do this or that. The truth is, we have a long, tough road ahead to turn all these guys into a viable team. It would be great if they can get it together by September, but it could take the whole season for them to look like they belong together.

I like to think Matt is good for .500 if he has a running game and protection, regardless of the opponent or how the defense plays. That's probably our ceiling unless something unexpected happens.

Can we please ban this clown already? He's the worst troll in the history of TATF and that's saying a lot.

I don't get it. It's just an opinion. One I share, actually. Finishing .500 would be an accomplishment considering we are not a good team.
