Don't buy that jersey, no way the NFL allows him to keep that number once the regular season starts. He'll have to have a number that is in the 50s, 60s, 70s or 90s. 40s are only allowed for running backs and defensive backs.

rule change this year, 40's are allowed for LB's as well.

They passed the Brian Bosworth rule earlier this offseason.

LBs are now able to wear numbers in the 40s.

Didn't think about that.

Maybe Beasley purposely chose Hamerin' Hank's number because he plans to knock it out of the park as an Atlanta Falcon. rolleyes.gif
